Eagan Transit Station
The Eagan Transit Station is a transit facility located in Eagan, Minnesota. Riders also hail from the nearby communities of Mendota Heights and Northern Rosemount. The Park & Ride lot has 750 parking spaces for bus passengers and retail employees. The station is an example of mixed-use, transit-oriented development. Originally a surface lot for a park-and-ride stop, it now includes retailers such as Cole's Salon, Starbucks, Bruegger's Bagels, The Tobacco Outlet, LeeAnn Chin and T-Mobile. Eagan, Minnesota
Eagan ( ) is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota. It is south of Saint Paul and lies on the south bank of the Minnesota River, upstream from the confluence with the Mississippi River. Eagan and the other nearby suburbs form the southern section of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area. Eagan's population was 68,855 at the 2020 census. The city was home to the headquarters of Northwest Airlines (now Delta Air Lines). History Eagan was named for Patrick Eagan, who was the first chairman of the town board of supervisors. He farmed a parcel of land near the present-day town hall. Eagan (born 1811) and his wife Margaret Twohy (born 1816) emigrated from Tipperary, Ireland to Troy, New York, where they married in 1843. Cedar Grove Transit Station
The Cedar Grove Transit Station is a transit facility in Eagan, Minnesota. It serves the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority bus system and the Metro Red Line bus rapid transit system. It opened March 20, 2010 in the Cedar Grove community. The station was built adjacent to Cedar Avenue freeway (Minnesota State Highway 77), but there was not any direct access from the freeway to the station for buses. Red Line Buses had to exit the freeway at Diffley Road, travel up Nicols Road to the station, pick up passengers, then double back along Nicols Road and Diffley Road to get back on the freeway, a maneuver that added five to ten minutes for each trip. New "in-line" access was designed with a station platform in the freeway median and a pedestrian bridge connecting it to the original station area. Saint Paul Union Depot is a historic railroad station and intermodal transit hub in the Lowertown neighborhood of the city of Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It serves light rail, intercity rail, intercity bus, and local bus services. It is the eastern terminus for the METRO Green Line light rail line, with the stop located outside the station's headhouse. It is also the Twin Cities' stop for Amtrak, the national intercity railroad service. Lake Street/Powderhorn (Metro Transit Station)
I-35W & Lake Street is a bus rapid transit station along the Metro Orange Line and planned Metro B Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It replaced an inconvenient pair of on-highway bus stops along the outside lanes of I-35W at Lake Street. The station itself cost $20 million and was built as part of the ''35W@94: Downtown to Crosstown'' reconstruction project. The new two-story station is located between I-35W over Lake Street with a transit plaza on Lake Street with a landscaped ramp connecting it to the Midtown Greenway. The old bus stops were not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) since stairways were the only way pedestrians were able to access the freeway stops to and from Lake Street below. Eagan High School (EHS) is a public high school in east-central Eagan, Minnesota, United States. The school opened in fall 1989 for ninth-grade students and for grades ten through twelve the following year. It is particularly noted for its fine arts programs and use of technology. 46th Street station is a light rail station on the Metro Blue Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This station is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of 46th Street and Minnesota State Highway 55 (Hiawatha Avenue), in the Ericsson neighborhood. This is a side-platform station.
