EV3 The Pilgrims Route
EuroVelo 3 (EV3), named ''the Pilgrims Route'', is a EuroVelo long-distance cycling route running running from Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. This north-south route travels through Europe passing successively through seven countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France and Spain. The route , the EV3 is partially complete. It runs through the following countries and towns: the connections with other EuroVelo routes are given in parentheses, e.g. (EV15). In Norway Trondheim (EV1), Røros, Lillehammer, Oslo. European Cyclists' Federation
The European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) is a Nonprofit organization, non-profit member-based umbrella federation of local, regional and national civil society organizations that promote cycling for both transportation and leisure. ECF has around 70 Cycling club, member organizations across more than 40 countries that it represents at the European level and internationally. ECF’s activities include conducting cycling advocacy and research, providing tools and resources, developing the EuroVelo network and organizing the Velo-city conference series. Jeumont
Jeumont () is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. It lies on the Belgian border and on the river Sambre, adjacent to the Belgian town Erquelinnes. It is part of the agglomeration (''unité urbaine'') of Maubeuge. Cycling infrastructure is all infrastructure cyclists are allowed to use. Bikeways include bike paths, bike lanes, cycle tracks, rail trails and, where permitted, sidewalks. The Sambre (; nl, Samber, ) is a river in northern France and in Wallonia, Belgium. It is a left-bank tributary of the Meuse, which it joins in the Wallonian capital Namur.
