The European Cup Winners Cup Club Championship was a championship tournament between national club cup winners for men's softball teams in Europe, governed by the European Softball Federation The European Softball Federation (Fédération Européenne Softball, ESF), was the governing body of softball within Europe from 1976 until 2018, when it merged with the Confederation of European Baseball into WBSC Europe. The ESF was founded in 1 .... If a cup tournament was not held the tournament was also open for the runner up of the national championship. After the 2011 season, the ESF Cup Winners Cup merged with the ESF European Cup to form the European Men's Super Cup Championship. From 2012 the Super Cup is the only European championship for club teams. Softball
Softball is a game similar to baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. Softball is played competitively at club levels, the college level, and the professional level. The game was first created in 1887 in Chicago by George Hancock. There are two rule sets for softball generally: ''slow pitch softball'' and ''fastpitch''. Slow pitch softball is commonly played recreationally, while women's fastpitch softball is a Summer Olympic sport and is played professionally. Brasschaat () is a municipality located in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium, and in the Flemish province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Brasschaat proper. Liberec

Hørsholm Hurricanes
Hørsholm Hurricanes is the oldest professional softball club in Denmark, founded in 1977. Over the years the Hurricanes have won 15 Danish Men's Championships and also provided the national team with numerous players. The Hurricanes have won the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2017 Danish Championship, and the team also won the European Cup for European clubteams in 2011 and 2012. Spijkenisse () is a city in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Following an administrative reform in 2015, it is part of the municipality of Nissewaard, and has a population of 72,500. It covers an area of of which is water. It is part of the Greater Rotterdam area. History Archaeological evidence suggests that the area around Spijkenisse has been inhabited for several thousand years. The area's prehistoric inhabitants depended on fishing in the Maas and hunting in the surrounding swamps for sustenance. Spijkenisse also has an anthem, the song is called "Spijkenisse" by Rik Hoogendoorn. The song was released in 2012 and is very popular amongst people who live in Spijkenisse.
