Ethiopian Broadcasting Service (EBS TV) is an Ethiopian Free-to-air, free to air television network. Launched in 2008, the network is based in Ethiopia with correspondents both in United States at its headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, Silver Spring, Maryland, United States, U.S. EBS TV broadcasts programs in mostly Amharic. Unity University is a private university in Ethiopia. It is the first privately owned institute of higher learning to be awarded full-fledged university status in Ethiopia by the Ministry of Education. It is also the first private university in the country to offer postgraduate programs leading to master's degree in business administration (MBA) and development economics (MA). Silver Spring is a census-designated place (CDP) in southeastern Montgomery County, Maryland, United States, near Washington, D.C.
