EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championships
The EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championships is an amateur junior snooker tournament. The event series is sanctioned by the European Billiards and Snooker Association and started from 2016. The inaugural tournament was won by Tyler Rees who defeated fellow countryman Jackson Page 5–2 in the final. The winner of the tournament is awarded with a place in the qualifying rounds of the World Snooker Championship. Liam Pullen
Liam Pullen (born 11 July 2005) is an English snooker player from Yorkshire. In April 2023 he became the England under-18 snooker champion. He has earned a two-year card on the World Snooker Tour starting with 2023–24 snooker season. Career From York, Pullen made his debut at Q School in 2021 as a fifteen year-old and his performances included a win over former professional James Cahill. In July 2022 he made his first maximum break, while practising in Leeds. Pullen reached the final the WSF Junior Snooker Championship held in Sydney, Australia in February 2023, with a highest break of 143. In the final he lost to his compatriot Stan Moody. In March 2023, he reached the final of 2023 EBSA European Snooker Championships in Malta where he was defeated by Hungarian Bulcsú Révész. Bulcsú Révész
Bulcsú Révész is a Hungarian snooker player. In February 2024 he won the WSF World Junior Championship, and with it earned a two-year card on the World Snooker Tour starting with 2024–25 snooker season. Career In 2019, competing as a twelve year-old, Révész made the last 16 of the EBSA European ''6 Reds'' competition. He then reached the Quarter Finals of the EBSA European Snooker Open, where he lost out to the eventual winner Kristján Helgason from Iceland. Liam Davies (snooker Player)
Liam James Davies (born 28 June 2006) is a Welsh amateur snooker player. Competing at the 2022 World Snooker Championship, Davies was the youngest player to win a match at the event. In addition to defeating Aaron Hill, Davies defeated Fergal O'Brien before losing on a to Jordan Brown in the penultimate qualifying round. As a result of high placing on the 2020–21 Q Tour, he was allowed to play in qualification events for the professional 2021–22 snooker season. In August 2022, Davies won three back-to-back junior world events, defeating Bulcsú Révész in the Under-16 championship and Antoni Kowalski in the Under-18 and Under-21 categories. He became the first player to win all three titles in a single year. Ben Mertens (born 13 October 2004) is a Belgian professional snooker player. He won the World Open Under-16 Snooker Championships in 2018. Career Ben Mertens is from Wetteren. When he was 12 years old, he reached the 2nd round of the 2017 EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championship. At the 2018 EBSA European Under-18 Snooker Championship he got to the quarter-finals, where he lost to the later champion Jackson Page. He won the Belgian U18 championship in 2018.
