Bikaner
Bikaner () is a city in the northwest of the state of Rajasthan, India. It is located northwest of the state capital, Jaipur. Bikaner city is the administrative headquarters of Bikaner District and Bikaner division. Formerly the capital of the princely state of Bikaner, the city was founded by Rao Bika in 1488 CE and from its small origins it has developed into the fourth largest city in Rajasthan. Bhagwati Prasad (judge)
Bhagwati Prasad (judge) (13 May 1949 – 19 November 2017) was an Indian Judge and former Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. Early life Prasad was born in 1949 at Bahadra, Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. He passed B.Sc. in 1969 from Govt. Post Graduate College, Hisar and completed LL.B. in 1972 from Dungar College of Bikaner. In 1986, Prasad also passed LL.M. from University of Jodhpur. He was the member of Rotary International and visited USA in 1975. Career Prasad was enrolled as an advocate on 2 September 1972 in Rajasthan Bar Council and became the secretary, Rajasthan High Court Advocates Association in 1976. He practiced for 24 years in the Rajasthan High Court. In 1996 he was appointed a judge of the Rajasthan High Court and on 7 February 2008 he was transferred to the Gujarat High Court. Karan Singh Yadav
Karan Singh Yadav (born 1 February 1945) is a former Indian politician who was a member of the 16th Lok Sabha. He represented Alwar constituency of Rajasthan, and was a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party. He also served as the president of Rajasthan Yadav Mahasabha. He was an INS candidate in the 2018 assembly elections from the Kishangarh Bas constituency. Arjun Ram Meghwal
Arjun Ram Meghwal (born 20 December 1953) is an Indian politician and the current Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs & Culture in the Second Modi ministry. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Meghwal formerly served as Chief Whip and Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. He was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 2009 representing the Bikaner constituency, Rajasthan. He was awarded the Best Parliamentarian in 2013. Meghwal doesn't use the car provided by the Government in commuting for work. Instead, he uses his push-bike as a local transport mode. Shyam Sunder Jyani
Shyam Sunder Jyani (born 1979) is an Indian environmentalist and academic, best known for afforestation efforts in the Indian state of Rajasthan. He is presently an associate professor of sociology at Dungar College, Bikaner. Biography He originated from a rural farming family in the village of 12 TK, Sri Ganganagar district. His involvement in environmental activities began in 2003, when he and some students revived a number of dying neem trees within Dungar College's campus.
