Adam Dugdale
Adam Dugdale (born 12 September 1987) is a retired English footballer who played as a defender Career Liverpool-born Dugdale, is a product of Crewe Alexandra's youth academy, playing one first team game before being released in 2007. He then played in non-league with Southport, Droylsden, Barrow and AFC Telford, before rejoining Crewe on 23 June 2010, signing an initial six-month deal. Dugdale signed for Tranmere Rovers on a one-month emergency loan deal on 30 August 2013. Some 16 months later, in January 2015, after over 100 league appearances for Crewe, he rejoined Rovers on a six-month deal. At the end of the season, that saw Tranmere Rovers relegate out of League Two, Dugdale was released by the club. Following Dugdale's release from Tranmere, he signed for a League Two side Morecambe on a one-year deal. Dugdale joined Eastleigh in June 2016. He left the club a year later by mutual consent. Jimmy Dugdale
James Robert Dugdale (15 January 1932 – 26 February 2008) was an English professional footballer best known for his career with Aston Villa, with whom he won a F.A. Cup winner's medal in 1957, 2nd Division Championship 1960, Inaugural League Cup Winner 1961. His playing position was Centre-Half (i.e. centre-back in current parlance). Before playing for Villa, Dugdale started his career at Harrowby F.C. (Liverpool) before moving to West Bromwich Albion, with whom he won a FA Cup winner's medal in 1954. Dugdale was selected on three occasions for England B, while he also represented the FA XI and the Football League XI in 1953–54. He moved to Queens Park Rangers in October 1962, before retiring from the game due to injury in May 1963. Dugdale had a leg amputated in 1993. He died aged 76 after a long illness, leaving wife Dorothy, daughters Debbie and Nicola and son Russell. Utopia (British TV Series)
''Utopia'' is a British thriller drama television series that was broadcast on Channel 4 from 15 January 2013 to 12 August 2014. The show was written by Dennis Kelly and starred Fiona O'Shaughnessy, Adeel Akhtar, Paul Higgins, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Alexandra Roach, Oliver Woollford, Alistair Petrie and Neil Maskell. A second six-episode series was commissioned by Channel 4 and went into production in late 2013, and was broadcast in July and August 2014. The show has since gained a cult following. In October 2014, the series' official Twitter feed stated there would not be a third series. HBO had originally planned to make an American version of the show in 2014, but did not produce it due to budget disputes. Mark James Dugdale (born December 25, 1974) is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder. He lives in Woodinville, Washington. His first competition in bodybuilding was in 1997 when he competed in the NPC (National Physique Committee) Emerald Cup. He placed 3rd in the middleweight class. His first Arnold Classic was in 2005, where he placed 9th. Later that year he competed in the Ironman Pro Invitational and the San Francisco Pro Invitational, placing 8th and 6th, respectively. Kezia Alexandra Ross Dugdale (born 28 August 1981) is a Scottish former politician who served as Leader of the Scottish Labour Party from 2015 to 2017. A former member of the Scottish Labour Party and Co-operative Party, she was a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Lothian region from 2011 to 2019. Born in Aberdeen and raised in Dundee, Dugdale studied law at the University of Aberdeen and Policy Studies at the University of Edinburgh, where she was a campaigns and welfare adviser. Career Born in Liverpool, Dugdale spent his early career with Kirkby Town, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Lieutenant-Colonel Sir John Dugdale Astley, 3rd Baronet (19 February 1828 – 10 October 1894) was an English soldier and sportsman. Life He was the son of the 2nd Baronet (created 1821) Sir Francis Dugdale Astley and wife Emma Dorothea Lethbridge, and a descendant of Lord Astley. From 1848 to 1859, he was in the Scots Fusilier Guards, serving in the Crimean War and retiring as a Lieutenant-Colonel. John Dugdale (16 March 1905 – 12 March 1963) was a British newspaper journalist and politician. Well-connected with the Labour Party establishment, he worked as Private Secretary to Clement Attlee and was appointed a Minister in his post-war government. Early career Dugdale was from an upper-class family, the only son of Ethel Innes "Outoo" (née) Sherston and Colonel Arthur Dugdale who was Commander of the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars during the First World War. He was first cousin to Door de Graaf and second cousin of Conservative MP Thomas Dugdale, who was Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food from 1951 to 1954. He was sent to Wellington College, from where he moved to Christ Church, Oxford. Sir John Dugdale (1 June 1628 – 31 August 1700) was a herald at the College of Arms in the City of London and was the son of William Dugdale (1605-1686), the historian and Garter Principal King of Arms herald. Life He was born on 1 June 1628 at Blyth Hall, Shustoke, Warwickshire and was educated at the grammar schools in Sutton Coldfield and Coleshill. He appears to have trained as a surveyor and worked for various royalist landowners during the Interregnum. In 1660 he joined the Earl of Clarendon's household as senior gentleman usher. In 1662 he married Mary Baker, the daughter of a Windsor attorney. They had two children, William and Mary. Following his wife's death in 1671 he married Elizabeth Pigeon, the heiress of a Coventry apothecary, with whom he had a daughter Elizabeth.
