''Duelyst'' was a free-to-play digital collectible card game and turn-based strategy hybrid developed by Counterplay Games, who initially self-published the title but was later published by Bandai Namco. It had been released in an open beta period in 2015, and the full game was released on April 27, 2016. Due to declining player counts, servers for ''Duelyst'' were shut down on February 27, 2020. A fan-made remake, titled ''Duelyst II'', has been announced for release on Steam, Android, and iOS. The development team is composed of former Duelyst players who were given permission by Counterplay Games to remake the game using the original game's assets. On January 10, 2023, the complete source code and assets for the game were uploaded to GitHub under the CC0 license. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
