Dudaktan Kalbe
''Dudaktan Kalbe'' ("From the Lips to the Heart") is a Turkish television series. It stars Burak Hakkı and Aslı Tandoğan. It is the fifth adaptation of Reşat Nuri Güntekin's famous novel, ''Dudaktan Kalbe''. He was one of the most popular writers of his period and was also a prominent name in the history of Turkish literature and drama. ''Dudaktan Kalbe'' recalls the pathos and romance of Leo Tolstoy's novels. It was published in 1923 and focuses on the struggle between ethics, loyalty, love and ambition. The television series ran for two seasons. Reşat Nuri Güntekin
Reşat Nuri Güntekin () (25 November 1889 – 7 December 1956) was a Turkish novelist, storywriter, and playwright. His best known novel, '' Çalıkuşu'' ("The Wren", 1922) is about the destiny of a young Turkish female teacher in Anatolia. This work is translated into Persian by Seyyed Borhan Ghandili. His other significant novels include ''Dudaktan Kalbe'' ("From the Lips to the Heart", 1925), and ''Yaprak Dökümü'' ("The Fall of Leaves", 1930). Many of his novels have been adapted to cinema and television. Because he visited Anatolia with his duty as an inspector, he knew Anatolian people closely. Show TV is a nationwide television channel in Turkey owned by Albayrak Holding since 2018, acquired from Sadık Albayrak which in turn seized from Ciner Media Group after Turgay Ciner was forced to sell due to tax debts. Burak Hakkı (; born 23 May 1972) is a Turkish actor and model. Biography After Ottoman Empire collapsed, his paternal family is of Turkish descent who immigrated from Komotini and Thessaloniki.
