''Driver 2: Back on the Streets'' (named ''Driver 2: The Wheelman Is Back'' in North America) is a 2000 action driving video game and the second installment of the ''Driver (series), Driver'' series. It was developed by Reflections Interactive and published by Infogrames for PlayStation (console), PlayStation. A port to the Game Boy Advance, titled ''Driver 2 Advance'', was released in 2002, developed by Sennari Interactive and released under Infogrames' ''Atari'' range of products. Gameplay ''Driver 2'' expands on ''Driver (video game), Driver''s structure, as well as adding the ability of the character John Tanner to step out of his car to explore on foot and commandeer other vehicles in the game's environments. The story missions are played separately from the 'Take a Ride' mode where the player can explore the cities in their own time. Ubisoft Reflections
Ubisoft Reflections Limited (formerly Reflections and later Reflections Interactive Limited) is a British video game developer and a studio of Ubisoft based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Founded in 1984 by Martin Edmondson and Nicholas Chamberlain, the studio focuses on racing games and it is best known for creating the award-winning '' Driver'' series. Reflections was acquired by GT Interactive in 1998 and sold to Ubisoft in 2006. The company works on AAA games in close cooperation with sister studio Ubisoft Leamington. Draw Distance
In computer graphics, draw distance (render distance or view distance) is the maximum distance of objects in a three-dimensional scene that are drawn by the rendering engine. Polygons that lie beyond the draw distance will not be drawn to the screen. Draw distance requires definition because a processor having to render objects out to an infinite distance would slow down the application to an unacceptable speed. See entries on "Depth shading" and "Draw in". As the draw distance increases, more distant polygons need to be drawn onto the screen that would regularly be clipped. This requires more computing power; the graphic quality and realism of the scene will increase as draw distance increases, but the overall performance (frames per second) will decrease. Decompile
A decompiler is a computer program that translates an executable file to a high-level source file which can be recompiled successfully. It does therefore the opposite of a typical compiler, which translates a high-level language to a low-level language. Decompilers are usually unable to perfectly reconstruct the original source code, thus frequently will produce obfuscated code.
