''Dreamland'' is a 2016 American musical comedy-drama film directed by Robert Schwartzman in directorial debut, from a screenplay by Benjamin Font and Schwartzman. It stars Johnny Simmons, Amy Landecker, Jason Schwartzman, Noël Wells, Alan Ruck, Beverly D'Angelo, Talia Shire, Shay Mitchell, Frankie Shaw and Nick Thune. The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 14, 2016. Robert Schwartzman
Robert Coppola Schwartzman (born December 24, 1982) is an American filmmaker, director, screenwriter, actor and musician. Schwartzman is best known for directing ''Dreamland'', ''The Unicorn'', and ''The Argument'', acting in his cousin Sofia Coppola's projects ''Lick the Star'' and ''The Virgin Suicides'', as well as starring in ''The Princess Diaries'' and as the lead vocalist of the rock/ pop band Rooney.
