Dreamia (registered as Dreamia - Serviços de Televisão, S.A.) is a producer of thematic channels for the Portuguese and African markets. It is a joint-venture between NOS and AMC Networks International Iberia. It produces the channels distributed by AMC Networks International Iberia. Dreamia channels are some of the most watched channels in Portuguese cable, with Canal Hollywood regularly surpassing RTP 2's ratings. Channels *Canal Hollywood (HD) - All markets. Biggs (TV Channel)
Biggs is a Portuguese basic cable and satellite television targeted to children, teens and youth ages 8 to 14. It was launched on 1 December 2009 on the NOS platform. It airs live-action shows, films, anime and cartoon shows. It also used to air archived programs from Canal Panda. Its design is very similar to that of YTV and Disney XD. On 1 June 2021, it was launched another Portuguese TV channel targeted to children called Panda Kids. It airs almost mostly the anime and cartoon shows formerly aired on Biggs, including new ones and films, some formerly aired on Canal Panda. Initially it was supposed to be ther first Portuguese pop-up TV channel for children that is, but due to the increase of the channel's target audience ratings, Dreamia decided to make it as a regular and permanent channel like Biggs and Canal Panda. Canal Panda
Canal Panda was an Iberian pay television channel, the first one dedicated to kids programming, mostly animated series for children aged 6–14. The channel was founded in 1996 as ''Panda Club'' in Spain and Portugal, but the name was changed to Canal Panda in 1997. In 2001, the channel was closed down in Spain, thus focusing on the Portuguese market. It was relaunched in Spain in 2011 and closed down again in 2022. Canal Panda is currently owned by Dreamia, a joint-venture between AMC Networks International Iberia and NOS. Currently, Canal Panda is a Portuguese preschooler-focused channel, airing programs targeted at the 3-8 age range. Canal Hollywood is a movies cable channel available in Spain and Portugal. For most of its history it was a single channel airing for all Iberia with feeds in Portuguese or Spanish, it later split. In 2011 was created a version in HD in Spain and Portugal. Canal Hollywood Portugal is a Portuguese basic cable and satellite television owned by Dreamia (AMC Networks International Iberia and NOS), Canal Hollywood was founded in 1993, and was one of the first Iberian cable channels ever.
