Dovrat
Dovrat ( he, דָּבְרַת) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near Afula, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. As of it had a population of . History Kibbutz Dovrat was established on 30 October 1946 by members of the ''Zra'im'' group, mostly immigrants from Austria and Germany who arrived before the start of World War II. In 1942, the group assembled in Ein Harod to prepare for the establishment of a new kibbutz. The kibbutz was namedCarta's Official Guide to Israel and Complete Gazetteer to all Sites in the Holy Land. Noam Shimon Dovrat ( he, נועם שמעון דוברת; born July 16, 2002) is an Israeli basketball player for Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He primarily plays the point guard position. He was named the 2020 Israeli Basketball Premier League Discovery of the Year. Early life Dovrat was born and raised in Rishon LeZion, Israel, to a Jewish family. Career He is 6' 5" (1.96 m) tall, and weighs 187 pounds (85 kg). As a youth Dovrat played basketball with the Maccabi Rishon LeZion juniors in Israel. He has played for Maccabi Rishon LeZion in the Israeli Basketball Premier League since 2018. Daberath
Daberath (Davrat) (dab'-e-rath) ("pasture") was a biblical Levitical city in the territory of Issachar, located near the border of Zebulun. It likely survives as the modern Israeli Arab village of Daburiyya. The nearby kibbutz of Dovrat is named after it. It was important militarily, being located at the foot of Mount Tabor and guarding the entry to the Esdraelon plain. According to Josephus (ii.21.§3), who called this town ''Dabaritta'', or ''Darabitta'', a military garrison was stationed here. Jezreel Valley Regional Council ( he, מועצה אזורית עמק יזרעאל, ''Mo'atza Azorit Emek Yizra'el'') is a regional council in northern Israel that encompasses most of the settlements in the Jezreel Valley. Kibbutzim
A kibbutz ( he, קִבּוּץ / , lit. "gathering, clustering"; plural: kibbutzim / ) is an intentional community in Israel that was traditionally based on agriculture. The first kibbutz, established in 1909, was Degania. Today, farming has been partly supplanted by other economic branches, including industrial plants and high-tech enterprises. Kibbutzim began as utopian communities, a combination of socialism and Zionism. In recent decades, some kibbutzim have been privatized and changes have been made in the communal lifestyle. A member of a kibbutz is called a ''kibbutznik'' ( he, קִבּוּצְנִיק / ; plural ''kibbutznikim'' or ''kibbutzniks''). In 2010, there were 270 kibbutzim in Israel with population of 126,000. Tribe Of Issachar
According to the Hebrew Bible, the Tribe of Issachar () was one of the twelve tribes of Israel and one of the ten lost tribes. In Jewish tradition, the descendants of Issachar were seen as being dominated by religious scholars and influential in proselytism. The sons of Issachar, ancestors of the tribe, were Tola, Phuvah, Job and Shimron. Levites (or Levi) (, he, ''Lǝvīyyīm'') are Jewish males who claim patrilineal descent from the Tribe of Levi. The Tribe of Levi descended from Levi, the third son of Jacob and Leah.
