This list describes characters from the anime and manga series ''Doraemon''. Also listed are their original NTV voice actors (1973), followed by their TV Asahi voice actors (1979–2005; 2005–present). Part of the 22nd century characters are listed in The Doraemons. Each main character represents a primary school student archetype. Nobita and Doraemon appears in every episode of the anime. Note: In some translations of ''Doraemon'', the names of these characters are different from the original names. The Doraemons
is a spin-off manga series of the long-running series ''Doraemon''. Synopsis The series originated from the film '' 2112: The Birth of Doraemon'', where the six protagonists were created. The original author Fujiko F. Fujio agrees with the story and adds these settings in the original series, even though the settings would not appear in any of the original manga and anime series. This subseries ran the short anime movie series from 1995 to 2002, and included two versions of manga by and . Plot The Doraemons, or ''Dora Dora Seven'' DD7, is an old boys' association of the that Doraemon attended. ''Doraemon'' ( ja, ドラえもん ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. The manga was first serialized in December 1969, with List of Doraemon chapters, its 1,345 individual chapters compiled into 45 ''tankōbon'' volumes and published by Shogakukan from 1970 to 1996. The story revolves around an earless robotic cat named Doraemon (character), Doraemon, who Time travel, travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a boy named Nobita Nobi. Doraemon (2005 TV Series)
is the most recent anime TV series based on Fujiko F. Fujio's manga of the same name. Produced by Shin-Ei Animation and Asatsu-DK, it began airing on TV Asahi on April 15, 2005. It also airs in over 50 countries worldwide. This Doraemon anime series is sometimes referred to in Asia as the Mizuta Edition (水田版), after Wasabi Mizuta, the voice actress who voices Doraemon in this series. The anime is licensed by Viz Media for broadcast rights only. An English dub produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment aired on Disney XD in the USA as ''Doraemon: Gadget Cat From the Future'' from July 7, 2014 until May 12, 2017. A second season of the English dub premiered on Disney XD on June 15, 2015 and ended on September 1 of the same year. TV Asahi currently holds distribution and licensing rights to Doraemon. , born , is a former Japanese actress, voice actress and singer affiliated with Actors Seven. She is best known for playing the title character in the long-running ''Doraemon'' anime series. She is also well known as the voice of Monokuma, the main villain from the ''Danganronpa'' video-game series. A four-dimensional space (4D) is a mathematical extension of the concept of three-dimensional or 3D space.
