Don't Let Me Fall Alone
Aishah and The Fan Club, better known as The Fan Club or just Fan Club, were a New Zealand-based singing group in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group released their first album ''Sensation'' in 1988, which spawned three top-20 singles in the New Zealand and Malaysian charts, "Sensation", "Paradise" and "Call Me" – the latter being a remake of a Spagna song of the same name. Their second album, titled '' Respect the Beat'', also produced three hit singles, including "I Feel Love" and "I Never Gave Up on You", and the band's only single to make the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 Charts – "Don't Let Me Fall Alone". The remixes for this song were among the most played dance tunes in clubs at the time. The group was formed while Aishah was in New Zealand studying in the late 1980s. Dato' Wan Aishah binti Wan Ariffin ( Jawi: وان عائشة بنت وان عارفين; born 3 January 1965), known mononymously as Aishah, is a singer, actress, and politician from Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Music career Aishah first achieved stardom in New Zealand when her first album with her band Aishah and The Fan Club, Sensation, has raised its name as Malaysia's first successful female singer to the international stage and has even had an entry into the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the song "Don't Let Me Fall Alone" in 1990. Paul Raymond Moss is the general manager of Media Prima network's media portal and a judge in 8TV's '' One in a Million'' singing contest. Moss was the AS A&R director of record company Positive Tone from its inception in 1994 until last year. Moss oversaw the transformation in Malaysian music that created whole new markets for English-language artistes and new genres of music. Ivana Spagna (born 16 December 1954), also known simply as Spagna (), is an Italian singer and songwriter. She is best known for her worldwide hit song " Call Me" released in 1987. "Call Me" is a song by Italian singer Spagna, released in 1987 as the second single from her debut studio album, ''Dedicated to the Moon'' (1987). The music video for the song was filmed in and around Nottingham, England. The majority of the video was filmed in and around the Ritzy nightclub, with the nearby Belvoir Castle also featuring. Unlike its predecessor, "Easy Lady", "Call Me" was also released in North America and Japan. A "U.S. remix" was made by Steve Thompson and Mike Barbiero. ''Malaysian Idol'' is the Malaysian version of the Idol Series that started in UK, similar to shows such as UK's ''Pop Idol'' and ''American Idol'' in the franchise. ''One in a Million'' (often abbreviated ''OIAM'') is a Malaysian reality-competition show. It is the first reality singing competition to offer a RM 1 million prize to the winner. The show began airing on 8TV, a terrestrial television station in Malaysia, on 26 May 2006.
