Domingo Miotti
Domingo Miotti (born 22 May 1996) is an Argentina international rugby union player. His regular playing position is fly-half. Rugby Union career Professional career Miotti played for the Jaguares. Miotti was then signed for Western Force. On 10 March 2021 it was announced that Miotti had signed for Glasgow Warriors for the 2021–22 season. Miotti said of the move: I’m very excited to join Glasgow. They are a great club and playing in the Guinness PRO14 will be a new experience for me that I’m really looking forward to. I’ve watched some of Glasgow’s games and they play a fun attacking style of rugby that I’m excited to be a part of. Miotti made his competitive debut for Glasgow on 4 December 2021 in their match against the Dragons at Scotstoun Stadium on 4 December 2021. He became Glasgow Warrior No. 339. 2021–22 Glasgow Warriors Season
The 2021–22 season will see Glasgow Warriors compete in the competitions: the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup. Season overview A new league structure was announced on 15 June 2021. With the addition of the 4 ''Super Rugby Unlocked'' franchises of the Bulls, Sharks, Stormers and the Lions, the Pro14 rebranded itself as the United Rugby Championship. There will be 4 regional conferences with teams playing their regional rivals home and away; and teams from the other conferences either home or away. With 16 teams in total, this means 18 normal matches in the season before the play-offs. Scotstoun Stadium
Scotstoun Stadium is an athletics and rugby union stadium in Scotstoun, an area in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow Warriors have trained at the facility since 2009 and have played their home games here from the 2012–13 season onwards. It has a capacity of 9,708 for rugby union. Between 2012 and 2015, the Stadium hosted the Scotland Sevens – the Scottish leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, but then the leg was moved to a new host country, France in 2016. History The facility first opened in 1915 as Scotstoun Showgrounds after the land was developed by the Glasgow Agricultural Society as a venue for agricultural shows. It was soon being used as a venue for sporting events and as a result the Grandstand was erected.
