Jaguares (band)
Jaguares is a Mexican alternative rock band formed by former Caifanes lead singer Saúl Hernández, ex-Caifan Alfonso André (drums), and two long-time friends Federico Fong (bass guitar) and José Manuel Aguilera (lead guitar). History Jaguares got their name from one of vocalist Saúl Hernández's dreams, in which he was singing in a jaguar's mouth. Soon after the release of their hit debut album, ''El Equilibrio de los Jaguares'', Hernández took a break after suffering papiloma virus cancer. As a result of a year without activity, Aguilera dropped out of the band and Fong took a break from the band, as well both continue with his band La Barranca. Aguilera was replaced by César López Garcia, most famously known as "El Vampiro", who had previously been invited to play in Caifanes' beginnings in the late 1980s. Jaguares (Super Rugby)
The Jaguares was an Argentine professional rugby union team based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They were founded in 2015 and are the first Argentine team to play in SANZAAR's Super Rugby competition, participating from the 2016 Super Rugby season onwards. They were the runners up during the 2019 Super Rugby season, losing to the Crusaders 19–3 in the Super Rugby Final, played on July 6, 2019. They participated in Super Rugby until the end of the 2020 Super Rugby season, before they departed the competition having not been named in any of the regionalised formats for the 2021 Super Rugby season. Chiapas (; Tzotzil and Tzeltal: ''Chyapas'' ), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Chiapas ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Chiapas), is one of the states that make up the 32 federal entities of Mexico. Chiapas Fútbol Club, commonly known as Jaguares de Chiapas, was a football club based in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Mexico, that played in the Mexican football league system Liga MX. The team played their home matches at the Estadio Víctor Manuel Reyna. History Jaguares de Chiapas The club in its Chiapas reincarnation was "founded" on 27 June 2002. They played their first game on 3 August against Tigres de la UANL, losing 3–1, with Lucio Filomeno scoring the club's first ever goal. The club's first win came on 25 August, a 1–0 win over San Luis. They finished the Apertura 2002, with a record of three wins, seven draws, and nine defeats.
