Dmitry 'Black Valet' Valent (born 13 April 1988 in Minsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian Muay Thai middleweight/ super middleweight kickboxer. He is the former WKN Middleweight Oriental rules and Muay thai champion, former WMC Light Heavyweight champion, two time WMC I-1 World Muaythai Grand Slam champion and two time Kunlun Fight 80kg tournament runner-up. Dmitry is one of Belarus's top fighters. Career and biography Amateur career Valent had an extremely decorated amateur career before making his professional debut, although he continued to fight amateur fights alongside professional ones between 2007 and 2012. He was the 2006 IFMA world silver medalist, as well as the 2009 and 2010 world gold medalist. In kickboxing, he was the 2007 WAKO World gold medalist and the 2010 European gold medalist. He is the former Glory Middleweight Champion, as well as the former It's Showtime 77 MAX champion. ''The Contender Asia'' (known as The Contender: Kickboxer in the United Kingdom, and The Contender: Muay Thai in the United States) was a reality-based television series that follows 16 Muay Thai middleweight fighters from 12 countries as they compete in a series of outdoor challenges and sanctioned matches. The series is a deviation from the original Contender series, which involved boxing. The winner received US$150,000 and bragging rights as "The Contender Champion". The program was hosted by Vice President of World Muay Thai Council and former World Champion Stephen Fox (who also serves as the show's main trainer) and Jaymee Ong. The men's light middleweight (71 kg/156.2 lbs) K-1 category at the W.A.K.O. World Championships 2007 in Belgrade was the sixth lightest of the K-1 tournaments, involving twelve fighters all based in Europe. Each of the matches was three rounds of two minutes each and were fought under K-1 rules. Owing to the low number of fighters for a sixteen-man tournament, four of the contestants had byes through to the quarter-finals. Dmitry "Shok" Shakuta ( be, Дзмiтрый Віктаравіч Шакута, born August 7, 1980) is a Belarusian Muay Thai super middleweight kickboxer fighting out of Minsk, Belarus for the SK-55 gym. He is an eight-time amateur and professional world champion who is most well known for being the It's Showtime 77MAX world champion between 2008 and 2009. On November 16, 2020 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia imposed a travel ban against Shakuta ‘for an unspecified period’ because of his alleged involvement in the killing of peaceful protestor Raman Bandarenka. A number of sportspeople have previously identified him in photos and videos of the masked persons who attacked Bandarenka. Shakuta refused to comment on the suspicions. Andrei "Bullet" Kulebin (born 14 May 1984 in Neustrelitz, Germany) is a Belarusian Muay Thai welterweight kickboxer fighting out of Minsk, Belarus for Gym "Kick Fighter". He is an 18 time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion who has won international titles both at amateur and professional level from 51 kg to 67 kg and is considered one of the top pound for pound Muay Thai fighters outside of Thailand.
