Dmitry Sinkovsky
Dmitry Evgenyevich Sinkovsky (russian: Дмитрий Евгеньевич Синьковский) (born 1980, Moscow) is a Russian virtuoso violinist, concertmaster, countertenor and conductor. Sinkovsky started playing violin at age 5. He has been a prizewinner in the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition, Bach Competition (2006), MAfestival Brugge, Musica Antiqua Competition (2008), and Romanus Weichlein (2009). He has performed in Europe, Russia, Canada, Australia and the United States with such orchestras as the Canadian Arion Baroque Orchestra, Finnish Helsinki Baroque Orchestra, German Concerto Köln, Italian Il Giardino Armonico, Spanish Sevillian Orquesta Barroca, Australian Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, both Pratum Integrum and Musica Petropolitana of Russia and in the United States with the Seattle Symphony. Violin
The violin, sometimes known as a '' fiddle'', is a wooden chordophone ( string instrument) in the violin family. Most violins have a hollow wooden body. It is the smallest and thus highest-pitched instrument ( soprano) in the family in regular use. Francesco Ruggeri
Francesco Rugeri (Cremona, 1628; 28 October 1698), also known as Ruger, Rugier, Rugeri, Ruggeri, Ruggieri, Ruggerius, was the first of an important family of luthiers, the Casa Rugeri in Cremona, Italy. His instruments are masterfully constructed. His violins are inspired by Nicolò Amati's "Grand Amati" pattern. Francesco was the first to develop a smaller cello design, which has become the standard for modern cello dimensions. Today, Rugeri's instruments are nearly as renowned as Nicolò Amati's instruments. The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra (german: NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester) is a German radio orchestra. Affiliated with the '' Norddeutscher Rundfunk'' (NDR; North German Broadcasting), the orchestra is based at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany.
