Djamila Rakhmatova (Russian: Джамиля Рахматова; born 19 September 1990) is a retired individual Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. Career A member of the Uzbek National gymnastics team since 2002, Rakhmatova has competed in 5 World Championships, she had her highest placement at the 2013 World Championships in Kyiv, Ukraine finishing 18th in the All-around. She and the Uzbek Team won Team silver medal at the 2010 Asian Games. She won silver in the All-around at the 2013 Asian Championships. She finished 10th in all-around at the 2013 Grand Prix Final in Berlin and won silver medal in ribbon final. Rhythmic Gymnast
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. It became an Olympic sport in 1984, with an individual all-around event. The group all-around competition was added to the Olympics in 1996. At the international level, rhythmic gymnastics is a women-only sport. Georges Bizet (; 25 October 18383 June 1875) was a French composer of the Romantic music, Romantic era. ''Carmen Suite'' is a one-act ballet created in 1967 by Cuban choreographer Alberto Alonso to music by Russian composer Rodion Shchedrin for his wife, prima ballerina assoluta Maya Plisetskaya. The premiere took place on 20 April 1967 at the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow. The music, taken from Bizet's opera ''Carmen'' and arranged for strings and percussion, is not a 19th-century pastiche but rather "a creative meeting of the minds," as Shchedrin put it, with Bizet's melodies reclothed in a variety of fresh instrumental colors (including the frequent use of percussion), set to new rhythms and often phrased with a great deal of sly wit. Anastasiya Evgenievna Serdyukova (russian: Анастасия Евгеньевна Сердюкова; born 29 May 1997) is an Uzbekistani former individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the All-around bronze medalist at the 2014 Asian Games and the 2017 Asian Championships All-around gold medalist. 2014 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships
The 2014 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, the 33rd edition, was held in İzmir, Turkey, from September 21 to 28, 2014 at the İzmir Halkapınar Sport Hall. Yana Kudryavtseva of the Russian Federation became the youngest rhythmic gymnast to win back-to-back individual all-around titles in the World Championships at 16 years old. Marina Sergeyevna Durunda (born 12 June 1997) ( az, Marina Sergey qızı Durunda;russian: Марина Сергеевна Дурунда) is a retired Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani individual rhythmic gymnast. Durunda started her senior career in 2013, and soon became the leader of the Azerbaijani gymnastics and a three-time (2013-2015) national champion.
