Djamel Belmadi
Djamel Belmadi ( ar, جمال بلماضي; born 25 March 1976) is a professional football coach and former player who manages the Algeria national team. As a player he was midfielder who had spells in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille, Cannes and Valenciennes. He also briefly played in La Liga for Celta Vigo and in the Premier League for Manchester City. Later on in his career he returned to England and played several seasons at Southampton whilst the club were in the Football League. He also played for Martigues, Al-Ittihad and Al-Kharitiyath. Born in France, he played internationally for Algeria and was capped 20 times. As a coach he has managed Lekhwiya, Qatar B, Qatar, Al-Duhail and currently Algeria. George Weah
George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah (; born 1 October 1966) is a Liberian politician and former professional footballer who is the incumbent president of Liberia, in office since 2018. Prior to his election to the presidency, Weah served as Senator from Montserrado County. He played as a striker in his prolific 18-year professional football career, which ended in 2003. 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup
The 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was the 22nd edition of the biennial football competition, and took place between 13 and 26 November 2014 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was scheduled to take place in Basra, Iraq but was shifted after concerns over preparations and security. Iraq was also due to host the 2013 tournament, but this was moved to Bahrain instead. After being moved to Saudi Arabia, Jeddah was initially announced as the host city but was later moved to Riyadh. Qatar won the cup by defeating Saudi Arabia 2–1 in the final.
