Champigny-sur-Marne (, literally ''Champigny on Marne'') is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris. Name Champigny-sur-Marne was originally called simply Champigny. The name Champigny ultimately comes from Medieval Latin ''Campaniacum'', meaning "estate of Campanius", a Gallo-Roman landowner. In 1897 the name of the commune officially became Champigny-sur-Marne (meaning "Champigny upon Marne"), in order to distinguish it from other communes of France also called Champigny. Yan Valery ( ar, يان فاليري; born 22 February 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Ligue 1 club Angers and the Tunisia national team. Les Boullereaux-Champigny is a French railway station in Champigny-sur-Marne, Val-de-Marne department, at kilometric point 18.473 of the Paris-Est–Mulhouse-Ville railway. The station The station opened on 13 January 1974 as the railway became electrified between Noisy-le-Sec and Tournan. Djamel Belmadi ( ar, جمال بلماضي; born 25 March 1976) is a professional football coach and former player who manages the Algeria national team. Chennevières-sur-Marne (, literally ''Chennevières on Marne'') is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the center of Paris. History People have lived on the site of Chennevières-sur-Marne since pre-historic times, the hilly, riverside location being an advantageous spot. RER E
RER E is one of the five lines in the Réseau Express Régional (English: Regional Express Network), a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris, France and its suburbs. The RER E line travels between Paris and eastern suburbs, with all trains serving the stations in central Paris, before branching out towards the ends of the line. The Marne () is a river in France, an eastern tributary of the Seine in the area east and southeast of Paris. It is long. The river gave its name to the departments of Haute-Marne, Marne, Seine-et-Marne, and Val-de-Marne.
