Dion Smith
Dion Smith (born 3 March 1993) is a New Zealand cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Smith was born in Taupaki in Rodney District. He attended Massey High School. In September 2015 it was announced that he would join for the 2016 season. In June 2017, he was named in the startlist for the 2017 Tour de France. In stage six of the race, he was part of the sprint for the finish line and given the same time as the winner, Marcel Kittel. In August 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Vuelta a España. In September 2022 it was announced that Smith would join team for the 2023 and 2024 season. Taupaki
Taupaki is a locality in the Rodney District, which is a part of the Auckland Region in New Zealand. Kumeu lies to the north-west, Whenuapai to the north-east, West Harbour to the east, Massey to the south-east, Swanson to the south, and Waitākere, Auckland to the south-west. The North Auckland Line runs through the area. History The area is traditionally a part of rohe of the tribe Te Kawerau ā Maki, who referred to the wider area was known as Te Kumeū. 2019 Vuelta A España
The 2019 Vuelta a España was a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race that took place in Spain, Andorra and France between 24 August and 15 September 2019. The race was the 74th edition of the Vuelta a España and is the final Grand Tour of the 2019 cycling season. The race started with a team time trial in Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. The race was won by Primož Roglič of , making him the first Slovenian rider to win a Grand Tour. Cascade Cycling Classic
The Cascade Cycling Classic was the longest running elite road bicycle racing stage race in the United States (1980–2019), with 2018 being the only year the race was not held. The race took place in the Central Oregon region and was based in Bend, Oregon. It was a regular fixture for most of North America's top cyclists and teams. Owned and managed by the Cascade Cycling Classic Youth Foundation, former pro cyclist and two time National Road Champion Bart Bowen was both the Foundation's executive director and the Classic's race director. Tour De Beauce
Tour de Beauce is a men's elite professional road bicycle racing multi-day event held each June in the Beauce region of Quebec, Canada since 1986. It is the oldest stage-race in North America, and is a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI)-rated 2.2 continental circuit stage race on the UCI America Tour. The Queen Stage of the Tour de Beauce features the ascension of the iconic Mont-Mégantic National Park, a 6-km climb averaging 10% and peaking at 18% on the highest elevation road in the Province of Quebec.
