Din (EP)
''Din'' is the first extended play by Swedish singer and songwriter Oscar Zia. It consists of four previously released songs and two new songs as well as the acoustic version of "Nice". The extended play was released on November 2, 2018 through Warner Music Sweden via digital download. The songs on the extended play are entirely written and sung in Zia's native language, Swedish. Background About the reason why Zia decided to write songs in Swedish, he stated that "it's easier to be personal in Swedish and I've always felt that I want to be as personal as possible in my songs. Singing in Swedish is much more honest and straightforward. It just feels just right" in an interview with Aftonbladet. The Swedish newspaper TTELA reported that ''Din'' was supposed to be a full album, however, but Zia decided to release the songs as an extended play to end a chapter in his life, a relationship that ended. Oscar Zia
Oscar Zia (born 10 October 1996) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and actor. In 2012, he first came to national attention for coming eighth in the Swedish version of ''X Factor''. In 2014, Zia finished as runner-up on the eighth season of '' Let's Dance'', the Swedish version of ''Dancing with the Stars''. Following ''X Factor'', Zia signed a record deal with Warner Music, and in 2014 he released his debut album '' I Don't Know How to Dance'', which peaked at number three in Sweden. He has competed in Melodifestivalen twice, in 2014 with "Yes We Can" and in 2016 with "Human". In 2021, he returned to the competition as a guest co-host with Anis Don Demina, and later hosted the entire competition in 2022. In 2020, Zia made his acting debut on ''Cryptid'' on Viaplay. Ellen 'Linnea' Petrea Henriksson (born 9 November 1986) is a Swedish singer and songwriter who participated in '' Idol 2010'' in which she placed fourth. , she is also the lead singer of the jazz band Prylf. In 2012 Henriksson released her first music album, which she co-wrote and co-produced with singer Orup. During mid-2013 Henriksson toured Sweden with the band Gyllene Tider.
