Dimitris Pinakas
Dimitrios Pinakas ( el, Δημήτριος Πινακάς; born 1 September 2001) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Olympiacos B. Career AEL Pinakas made his professional debut in a home cup game against Irodotos, which ended as a 4–1 win, on 30 October 2018. In the 2019–20 season he made a total of 9 appearances, making a positive impression. On 29 July 2020, he signed a new three-year contract with the club, running until the summer of 2023. In the opening game of the 2020–21 season against PAOK, Pinakas came in as a substitute and wore the captain's armband for the first time in his career. After the end of the match, he expressed his gratitude for this honour. On 28 September 2020, he scored his first goal, salvaging a point for his team a few minutes before the final whistle, with the final 1–1 home draw against Panathinaikos. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2022–23 Cypriot First Division is the 84th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Competition system 14 teams will participate in the 2022–23 First Division. It will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, all teams will play each other twice, one at home and one away. After the completion of the 26 matches (A phase) the teams will participate in 2 groups (depending on their position) and will play ranking matches (B phase). The 2021–22 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the third season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system. The season started on 6 November 2021 and will finish in May 2022. The league will be conducted of 34 teams and two groups, this is due to the restructure and abolishment of the Football League. The league will also see the introduction of B Teams of Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK Athens and Panathinaikos. B Teams are ineligible for promotion.
