Dimitri Van Den Bergh
Dimitri Van den Bergh (born 8 July 1994) is a Belgian professional darts player who currently competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a two-time World Youth Champion and the 2020 World Matchplay champion, after beating Gary Anderson 18–10 in the final, in his first time competing in the Matchplay. Career BDO In 2013, Van den Bergh won the British Teenage Open by beating Billy Longshaw 3–0 in the final. Two months later he claimed the 16th PDC Challenge Tour event of the year by whitewashing Reece Robinson 4–0. PDC 2014 In 2014, he entered Q School in an attempt to earn a PDC tour card, but he couldn't advance beyond the last 64 in any of the four days. However, he was granted PDPA Associate Member status for participating which gave him entry into UK Open and European tour qualifiers. 2018 PDC World Youth Championship
The 2018 PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship was the eighth edition of the PDC World Youth Championship, a tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation for darts players aged between 16 and 23. In a change mirroring that of the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship, the field of this competition increased from 64 to 96 players, who competed in 32 groups of three, with the winner of each progressing to the knockout stages. The group stage and knock-out phase from the last 32 to the semi-finals was played at Robin Park Centre, Wigan, on 5 November 2018. Reece Robinson (born 15 May 1992 from Kingston upon Hull, Hull) is an England, English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Robinson came to prominence in major darts at the 2010 2010 UK Open Darts, UK Open along with fellow young players Joe Cullen (darts player), Joe Cullen, William O'Connor (darts player), William O'Connor and Arron Monk. Gary Anderson (born 22 December 1970) is a Scottish professional darts player, currently playing in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He is a former BDO and WDF world number one, and a two-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2015 and 2016. His nickname is "The Flying Scotsman", after a famous Scottish steam train. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. EDF European Darts Championship
The EDF European Darts Championship is an electronic soft-tip darts tournament held generally at Terme Olimia in Podčetrtek, Slovenia. Once time is held in Santa Susanna, Catalonia. Stephen Bunting (born 9 April 1985) is an English professional darts player who competes in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Nicknamed The Bullet, Bunting won the 2014 BDO World Darts Championship and is a twice former World Masters champion. Darts career Beginnings Bunting won both the British Teenage Open and the World Youth Masters in 2001 and also captured the WDF Europe Youth Cup in 2002. He made his BDO World Darts Championship debut in 2004 aged 18, where he beat Vincent van der Voort in the first round before losing in the second round to former World Champion Ted Hankey. 2018 Grand Slam Of Darts
The 2018 bwin Grand Slam of Darts was the twelfth staging of the tournament, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The event took place from 10–18 November 2018 in Wolverhampton, England, but for the first time in the event's history, it was not at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, as it is undergoing a two-year renovation.
