Diego Scotti
Diego Martín Scotti Ponce de León (born 14 January 1977 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan retired footballer. Scotti has had an extensive career in South America and China he has played for: Nacional, Montevideo Wanderers and Racing de Montevideo in Uruguay, Tianjin Teda F.C. in China, Olimpia in Paraguay, Audax Italiano in Chile. He has also played in Argentina for Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata and Newell's Old Boys. His older brother Andrés Scotti currently plays in Uruguay for Nacional de Montevideo. He primarily played as a defensive midfielder but could also play as a centre back. Club career Scotti began his career at Nacional de Montevideo in 1998, winning the league title two years later. In January 2001, he was transferred to Gimnasia La Plata of Argentina. Scotti completed his move to Tianjin Teda for play in the Chinese Super League. Club Bolívar () is a Bolivian professional football club that currently plays in the Bolivian Primera División. Founded in 1925 in honor of Venezuelan military leader Simón Bolívar, it is the most successful and popular club in the history of Bolivian football, with 30 titles. Leandro Javier Delgado Plenkovich (born July 15, 1982) was a Chilean Association football, footballer of Croatian descent. Career Leandro Delgado started his career in Club de Deportes Puerto Montt, Puerto Montt, at those times in the Primera División de Chile, Primera División Chilena, alternating his playing position between Defender (association football), defence and the midfield. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football. Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it's the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Latin America as well. Club de Deportes Cobresal or simply Cobresal, is a Chilean football club based in El Salvador, Atacama, a Chilean mining camp, and participates in Campeonato Nacional. Andrés Scotti Ponce de León (born 14 December 1975) is a Uruguayan former professional footballer who played as centre-back and rarely as left-back. Between 2006 and 2013, he made 40 appearances and scored one goal for the Uruguay national team Club career Early career Scotti was born in Montevideo, but grew up in Trinidad, capital of Flores Department. He started his career playing football for the local village team Independiente in 1993, when he was between 17 and 18 years old.
