Diego Pizarro
Diego Enrique Pizarro Bosio (born 14 August 1990) is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a striker or winger. He is the younger brother of striker Claudio Pizarro. Club career Diego developed as footballer within Bayern Munich's youth academy. On 31 August 2009, it was announced that he joined Peruvian club Coronel Bolognesi for the last part of the 2009 Descentralizado season. However, he did not manage to play for Bolognesi as he suffered an injury that kept him from making his debut. At the end of the 2009 season Bolognesi was relegated to the second division. In January 2010, he signed for Peruvian club Sport Boys Association for the start of the 2010 Descentralizado season. Diego made his professional debut in the Peruvian First Division on 29 May 2010 in an away match against José Gálvez FBC. He entered the match in the 73rd minute replacing Miguel Curiel. 2011 Torneo Descentralizado
The 2011 Torneo Descentralizado de Fútbol Profesional (known as the 2011 Copa Movistar for sponsorship reasons) was the ninety-fifth season of Association Peruvian football. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament, with Universidad de San Martín as the defending champion. The Torneo Descentralizado began on 12 February and concluded on 14 December with the victory of Juan Aurich over Alianza Lima in the penalty kicks of the final Play-off, giving Juan Aurich its debut Peruvian title. Competition modus The sixteen teams played a round-robin home-and-away round for a total of 30 matches each. Colegio Nacional Iquitos (usually referred to as CNI) is a Peruvian football team based in the city of Iquitos which was founded in 1926. CNI is the biggest club in the city of Iquitos and currently is not playing in any league. The Torneo de Promoción y Reserva is a football tournament in Peru. There are currently 16 clubs in the league. It will play from the year 2010 in a simultaneous way and preliminary to the Torneo Descentralizado among the 16 teams of first division. José Gálvez FBC is a Peruvian football club based in Chimbote, Ancash. The club was founded in 1951 under the name Manuel Rivera after the famous Chimbote born footballer Manuel Rivera. The club was forced to change its name because the FPF did not allow clubs to be named after living people. Then on 11 November 1963 the club decided the new name would be José Gálvez FBC. More recently the club played in the Peruvian Second Division and finished as champions in 2011.
