Diego Andrés Carrasco Muñoz (born May 25, 1995) is a Chilean Association football, footballer who currently plays for club Deportes Copiapó. He can operate as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, central defender or Defender (association football)#Full-back, left-back. Career Coquimbo Unido On 13 July 2013, Carrasco made his professional debut at the age of 18 years in a match from 2013–14 Copa Chile against Deportes Copiapó, playing ninety minutes. He always played along with the Coquimbo Unido, pirate team at the Primera B de Chile, Primera B, the second highest level of Chilean football league system, Chilean football. On 2018 Primera B de Chile, 2018 season, he became Captain (association football), team captain and Coquimbo Unido became Primera B de Chile, Primera B's champion getting the promotion to Chilean Primera División, Primera División after defeating Deportes Puerto Montt. ''La Cuarta'' ( es, The Fourth One) is a Chilean daily tabloid and part of the Copesa group. The newspaper is famous for its tone and plebeian style of headlining stories. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as the Copa Libertadores de América ( pt, Copa Libertadores da América), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. The 2020 Chilean Primera División, known as Campeonato Nacional AFP PlanVital 2020 for sponsorship reasons, was the 90th season of the Chilean Primera División, Chile's top-flight football league. 2019 Chilean Primera División
The 2019 Campeonato Nacional, known as Campeonato AFP PlanVital 2019 for sponsorship reasons, was the 89th season of top-flight football in Chile. The season started on 15 February 2019. Universidad Católica were the defending champions, having won the previous tournament. Due to the 2019 Chilean protests, the competition was suspended since mid-October with six matchdays still left. After a failed attempt to resume normal activity that saw only one match fully played, on 29 November 2019, ANFP's Council of Presidents voted to conclude the season.
