Diarmuid Barron
Diarmuid Barron (born 6 August 1998) is an Irish rugby union player for Munster in the United Rugby Championship and European Rugby Champions Cup. He plays as a hooker and represents Garryowen in the All-Ireland League. Early life Born in Cashel, County Tipperary, Barron captained Rockwell College, where former Munster number 8 Denis Leamy was coach, to victory in the 2015 Munster Schools Rugby Senior Cup. Munster Barron joined the Munster Academy year one intake ahead of the 2018–19 season. He made his competitive debut for the senior Munster team on 21 September 2018, aged 19, coming off the bench to replace Mike Sherry in the provinces 2018–19 Pro14 fixture against Cardiff Blues. Cashel, County Tipperary
Cashel (; ) is a town in County Tipperary in Ireland. Its population was 4,422 in the 2016 census. The town gives its name to the ecclesiastical province of ''Cashel''. Additionally, the ''cathedra'' of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly was originally in the town prior to the English Reformation. Mike Sherry (born 18 June 1988) is an Irish former rugby union player. He played as a hooker and represented Garryowen in the All-Ireland League. Early life Sherry was born in Limerick, where he attended Ardscoil Rís and won the Munster Schools Junior Cup. Professional career Munster Sherry made his Munster debut against Connacht in December 2009. He made his Heineken Cup debut against Toulon in January 2011. He was part of the Munster team that beat Leinster 19–9 in the 2011 Celtic League Grand Final at Thomond Park. He was ruled out for six to eight weeks in October 2011 with an ankle injury. He returned to training in early January 2012, and was named in the Munster A team to play Ulster Ravens in the British and Irish Cup quarter-final on 20 January 2012, making his comeback in the 9–20 win. Italy National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
Italy's national under-20 rugby union team has competed in both the IRB Junior World Championship and IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy. They were one of four teams relegated in 2009 to the Junior World Trophy after finishing at the bottom of the tournament. They were again promoted to the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship after winning the 2010 IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy. Páirc Uí Chaoimh ( ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Cork (city), Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is the home of Cork GAA. The venue, often referred to simply as The Park, is located in Ballintemple, Cork, Ballintemple and is built near to the site of the original Cork Athletic Grounds. Castres Olympique () is a French rugby union club located in the Occitanian city of Castres and is currently competing in the top level of the French league system. 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup Pool Stage
The 2021–22 European Rugby Champions Cup pool stage was the first stage of the 27th season of European club rugby union, and the eighth under the European Rugby Champions Cup format. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic delaying the end of the 2019–20 tournament, twenty-four clubs from the three major European domestic and regional leagues competed in the Champions Cup on a one-year exceptional basis. Several round 2 matches between teams from France and the UK were postponed. This was due to new travel restrictions between the UK and France introduced by the French government on 18 December 2021. Benetton Rugby, also known as Benetton Treviso ( or ), is an Italian professional rugby union team based in Treviso, Veneto competing in the United Rugby Championship, the European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Champions Cup.
