2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship
The 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship was the tenth annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. The event was organised in Georgia by rugby's governing body, World Rugby. Twelve nations played in the tournament, which was held in Tbilisi and Kutaisi from 31 May to 18 June. Andrea Piardi (born 1992 in Brescia) is an Italian rugby referee. Career Piardi was born in Brescia in 1992. Having previously refereed in the Italian Top12, he made his Pro14 refereeing debut in a match between and the on 15 February 2019. Nika Amashukeli ( ka, ნიკა ამაშუკელი) is a Georgian rugby union and World Rugby elite referee. Background In his early youth Nika Amashukeli played soccer. Nika watched his first ever full rugby match on TV during the 2007 Rugby World Cup, when his father "literally forced" him to watch Ireland v Georgia. Nika started playing rugby for Jiki at the age of 11. He played as a flanker then inside centre, and as an outside centre for Georgia at U17, U18 and U19 levels. He was selected for Georgia U18 team for 2012 European Under-18 Rugby Union Championship. By the age of 20 he had already suffered 5 concussions. Ronald Jamie Nutbrown (born 1981 in Christchurch, New Zealand), is a referee for Canterbury and New Zealand Rugby Union. Formerly a Half-back/Scrum Half for the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union club in New Zealand, who compete in the ITM Cup. Frank Murphy (born 2 December 1983) is a former professional rugby union player from Ireland who works as a referee for the Irish Rugby Football Union. He primarily played as a scrum-half. Originally from Cork, Murphy played for his native province of Munster before moving to the English side Leicester Tigers, with whom he won a Premiership title, and then finished his career with Connacht, another Irish province, making over 100 appearances for the side.
