2019–20 Pro14
The 2019–20 PRO14 (also known as the ''Guinness Brewery, Guinness PRO14'' for sponsorship reasons) was the nineteenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Pro14, Celtic League. It was the third season to be referred to as the ''PRO14'' (the competition was named the ''Pro12'' immediately prior to the addition of two South African teams). Fourteen teams competed in this season — four Irish teams: Connacht Rugby, Connacht, Leinster Rugby, Leinster, Munster Rugby, Munster and Ulster Rugby, Ulster; two Italian teams: Benetton Rugby, Benetton and Zebre; two Scottish teams: Edinburgh Rugby, Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors; two South African teams: Cheetahs (rugby union), Cheetahs and the Southern Kings; and four Welsh teams: Cardiff Blues, Dragons (rugby union), Dragons, Ospreys (rugby union), Ospreys and Scarlets. Leinster Rugby
Leinster Rugby ( ga, Rugbaí Laighean) is one of the four professional provincial rugby union teams from the island of Ireland and the most successful Irish team domestically. They compete in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup. Leinster play their home games primarily at the RDS Arena, although larger games are played in the Aviva Stadium when the capacity of the RDS is insufficient. Before moving to the RDS in 2005, Leinster's traditional home ground was Donnybrook Stadium, in Dublin 4. Cardiff Rugby ( cy, Rygbi Caerdydd) are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams. They compete in the United Rugby Championship and in European Professional Club Rugby competitions. Based in Cardiff, the team play at Cardiff Arms Park and are the professional arm of Cardiff Rugby Ltd. From 2003 to 2021 the first team was known as the Cardiff Blues before reverting to Cardiff Rugby prior to the start of the 2021-22 season. Cardiff Arms Park ( cy, Parc yr Arfau Caerdydd), also known as The Arms Park, is situated in the centre of Cardiff, Wales. It is primarily known as a rugby union stadium, but it also has a bowling green. The Arms Park was host to the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1958, and hosted four games in the 1991 Rugby World Cup, including the third-place play-off. The Arms Park also hosted the inaugural Heineken Cup Final of 1995–96 and the following year in 1996–97. Ellis Jenkins (born 29 April 1993) is a Welsh rugby union flanker who currently plays for the Cardiff Rugby and for the Wales national team. Career Cardiff Rugby Jenkins made his debut for Cardiff in 2011 having previously played for their academy team and Cardiff RFC. Stadio Comunale di Monigo is a sports stadium in the Treviso frazione of Monigo, Italy. The stadium is used for rugby union, and is the home ground for Benetton. The stadium has a total capacity of , divided between the two covered stands: the Tribuna Ovest (West Stand), seated with seats, and the Tribuna Est (East Stand), seated with seats. The Tribuna Ovest was the only originally covered stand, in fact the East Stand was renovated in 2018, increasing the capacity and building a cover. On the occasion of the test match between Italy and Scotland which was played there on 24 January 1998, the capacity was expanded to approximately seats thanks to the installation of some temporary stands at the sides of the permanent ones. Dean Budd (born 31 July 1986) is a retired New Zealand-born, Italian rugby union player and his usual position was at Lock. Budd played in the NPC with Northland and Auckland Rugby, while also playing with the Auckland Blues in the Super Rugby. Also able to play second row, Budd is a good jumper and is famous for his fancy offloads. Before joining Benetton Budd played for the NEC Green Rockets in the Top League. Kieran James Crowley (born 31 August 1961) is a New Zealand rugby union coach and former player, who is the head coach of Italy. He has also coached the New Zealand Under-19s in the 2007 World Championships as well as coaching provincial side Taranaki. He previously served as head coach of Canada.
