Ellis Jenkins
Ellis Jenkins (born 29 April 1993) is a Welsh rugby union flanker who currently plays for the Cardiff Rugby and for the Wales national team. Career Cardiff Rugby Jenkins made his debut for Cardiff in 2011 having previously played for their academy team and Cardiff RFC. He has been a regular member of the first-choice team since 2014, and was part of the victorious team that beat Gloucester in the final of the 2017–18 European Rugby Challenge Cup. International career Jenkins was a Wales under-20 international, captaining the side at the 2012 and 2013 Junior World Cup where Wales finished as runners up. Church Village
Church Village ( cy, Pentre'r Eglwys) is a large village in the historic parish and community of Llantwit Fardre, located within the Taff Ely district of the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf in Wales. The village is centrally located being around from the local principal towns of Llantrisant to the southwest and Pontypridd to the north and is situated around northwest of Cardiff city centre. History Historically the village was known as Cross Inn and fell within the traditional county of Glamorgan. Church Village itself does not share the extent of industrial mining heritage of much of the rest of the county and largely comprises new and recent build housing. Tom Prydie
Tom Prydie (born 23 February 1992) is a Welsh rugby union player. A fullback who can also play on the wing, Prydie is the youngest player ever to represent the Wales national team and the youngest player in the history of Europe's top rugby union club competition, the Heineken Cup. Early life Born in Porthcawl, a seaside resort near Bridgend, Prydie primarily played football in his early childhood. 2018 Wales Rugby Union Tour To Argentina And The United States
In June 2018, Wales played a two-test series against Argentina as part of the 2018 June rugby union tests. It was Wales's first test series against Argentina since their 2006 tour. 2016 Wales Rugby Union Tour Of New Zealand
The 2016 Wales rugby union tour of New Zealand was a rugby union tour of New Zealand by the Wales national team in June 2016. The tour saw the Welsh side play four matches: three test matches against New Zealand and one match against the Chiefs of Super Rugby. In the history of matches between these two sides until this three-match test series, New Zealand has won 90% (27 matches) of encounters between them, with Wales' 10% (3 matches) all having occurred before 1954. Aaron Craig Shingler (born 7 August 1987) is a Wales international rugby union player and former cricketer. His usual rugby position is flanker. Background Born 7 August 1987, Shingler grew up in the west of Wales, attending Pontarddulais Comprehensive School and Gorseinon Tertiary College. Josh Navidi (born 30 December 1990) is a Welsh international rugby union player who plays for the Cardiff Rugby, Wales and British and Irish Lions. He has previously captained Wales U20. Justin Tipuric ( ; born 6 August 1989) is a Welsh international rugby union player who plays for Wales as an openside flanker. Early life Tipuric is of Croatian descent. He grew up in Trebanos after initially being born in the village of Alltwen. Club career Tipuric plays for the Ospreys Welsh regional team, having previously played for Aberavon RFC. Dan Lydiate (born 18 December 1987) is a Wales international rugby union player. A flanker, Lydiate was raised in Llandrindod Wells and is a product of the Newport Gwent Dragons academy. Early life The younger of two boys born to English docker John Lydiate at Hope Hospital, their Welsh mother Lynne raised them in Salford, Greater Manchester. After their father suffered an injury, the family moved to Llandrindod Wells when Dan was aged 4, so that their father could work on his father-in-law's sheep farm in the Cambrian Mountains. Sam Kennedy-Warburton, OBE MStJ (born 5 October 1988), commonly known as Sam Warburton, is a Welsh former international rugby union player. Luke John Hamilton (born 7 January 1992) is a Scottish international rugby union player who plays back row for Oyonnax. He has previously played for Cardiff Blues and Edinburgh in the Pro14, Agen in France's Top 14 and Leicester Tigers in Premiership Rugby. The Scotland national rugby union team represents Scotland in men's international rugby union and is administered by the Scottish Rugby Union.
