Dewarick Spencer
Dewarick Antwain Spencer (born May 4, 1982) is an American and Egyptian professional basketball player who plays for Zamalek of the Egyptian Basketball Super League. Nicknamed "Dee," he is tall and plays both point guard and shooting guard positions. From Mobile, Alabama, he played in college at Iowa Western CC from 2000–2001, Faulkner State CC from 2001–2002 and Arkansas State in the NCAA Division 1 from 2003–2005. Professional career Spencer made a name for himself in Europe after winning the French League championship, the French League scoring title, the French League Foreign Player's MVP, and the French All-Star Game MVP during the 2006-07 season while he was with Chorale Roanne. In 2008, Spencer transferred from the Italian League club Virtus Bologna to the Turkish League club Efes Pilsen, after Efes released Drew Nicholas for refusing to travel with the team to Serbia. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. The Zhejiang Golden Bulls, or Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Rent are a Chinese professional basketball team based in Yiwu in Zhejiang, China. It competes in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), in the Southern Division. Its corporate sponsor is Zhejiang Chouzhou Commercial Bank. The team continued to be informally referred to as the Horses for quite some time, even after changing its nickname to Cyclones in 2001, largely because of the corporate sponsor during that era, Wanma (万马), whose name literally translates into English as ''ten thousand horses''. The club plays most of its home games at the Yiwu Gymnasium but occasionally hosts contests at other locations in Zhejiang Province. 2022 FIBA Intercontinental Cup
The 2022 FIBA Intercontinental Cup was the 31st edition of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. The tournament was held in February 2022. The Macau Black Bears () are a Macanese professional basketball team competing in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
