Dermot Molloy
Dermot Brick Molloy (born 199?) is a Gaelic footballer who plays forward for Naomh Conaill and also, formerly, for the Donegal county team. With a half-century of appearances for his county, he played for Donegal in two All-Ireland senior finals. A fixture in the Donegal teams of the Jim McGuinness era, Molloy won an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 2012 and three Ulster Senior Football Championships, in 2011, 2012 and 2014. Early life He was educated at St Eunan's College in Letterkenny. As a ten-year-old he wrote in a scrapbook of his wish to play for Donegal and win an All-Ireland medal. Donegal GAA
The Donegal County Board ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Dhún na nGall) or Donegal GAA is one of 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Donegal. The County Board is responsible for preparing the Donegal county teams in the various Gaelic sporting codes; football, hurling, camogie and handball. The county football team was the third from the province of Ulster to win an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC), following Cavan and Down. Rory Kavanagh
Rory Kavanagh ( ga, Ruairí Ó Caomhánach; born 23 August 1982) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player with St Eunan's and the Donegal county team. He currently manages the St Eunan's club. Alongside Colm McFadden and Christy Toye, he would have been considered one of the experienced members of the Donegal senior football panel in his final days. Kavanagh's haul of Ulster Senior Football Championships was a joint county team record (alongside such past players as Anthony Molloy, Martin McHugh, Joyce McMullan and Donal Reid) for four years until Patrick McBrearty, Neil McGee, Paddy McGrath, Leo McLoone, Frank McGlynn, Michael Murphy and Anthony Thompson surpassed it in 2018. The 2019 Donegal Senior Football Championship was the 97th official edition of Donegal GAA, Donegal GAA's premier Gaelic football tournament for senior graded clubs in County Donegal. 16 teams competed, with the winner representing Donegal in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship. The championship began with four groups of four, and continued with a knock-out format. The 2010 Donegal Senior Football Championship was contested by senior Gaelic football clubs under the auspices of Donegal GAA. Naomh Conaill were 2010 Champions, their second ever title. Quarter-finals The quarter-finals were played on Saturday 17 July, Saturday 24 July and Sunday 25 July. Semi-finals Final Naomh Conaill won the final at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey. The ''Donegal Democrat'' is a twice-weekly local newspaper, covering County Donegal, Ireland. Colm Anthony McFadden ( ga, Colm Antóin Mac Pháidín; born 1982/3) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays at full forward for St Michael's and, from 2002 to 2016, for the Donegal county team. McFadden is Donegal's most-capped Championship player. He played an integral role in Donegal's successful 2011–14 run of matches, starting every Championship game in that period.
