Derek Kok
Derek Kok Jing-hung (, born 18 November 1964) is a Hong Kong actor who had worked for TVB from 1986 to 2015. He filmed over 70 dramas. He is specialised in action and Chinese Kung Fu performance. Career His career started when he entered the New Talent Singing Awards in 1985. Even though he only made it through to the semi-finals, his stage performance, including the acrobatics he demonstrated throughout his performance impressed the folks at TVB. He then entered the TVB Artiste Training Class in 1985 and was signed with the station after completion of the program. The first notable role he played was Lee Yuen Ba in The Grand Canal. He left TVB in 2015 to sign a contract with a mainland Chinese company. In 2020, he also signed a contract with Shaw Brothers. Personal life Between 2007 and 2010, Kok was rumoured to be involved with actress Joyce Tang, but both have insisted to have only been good friends. Panyu, alternately romanized as Punyu, is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province, China. It was a separate county-level city before its incorporation into modern Guangzhou in 2000. The present district covers an area of about . Bao Zheng (; 5 March 999 – 3 July 1062), commonly known as Bao Gong (), was a Chinese politician during the reign of Emperor Renzong in China's Song Dynasty. During his twenty-five years in civil service, Bao consistently demonstrated extreme honesty and uprightness, with actions such as sentencing his own uncle, impeaching an uncle of Emperor Renzong's favourite concubine and punishing powerful families. His appointment from 1057 to 1058 as the prefect of Song's capital Kaifeng, where he initiated a number of changes to better hear the grievances of the people, made him a legendary figure. Detective Investigation Files is a 1995 Hong Kong crime investigation drama series produced by Poon Ka Tak for TVB and is the first installment in the Detective Investigation Files Series. The main characters were played by Michael Tao, Joey Leung, Kenix Kwok and Louisa So. This installment featured five different cases. In 2022, the drama was selected as one of ten classic TVB dramas being honoured for Youku and TVB's new programme.
