Denys Yuriyovych Popov ( uk, Денис Юрійович Попов; born 17 February 1999) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a defender for FC Dynamo Kyiv. Club career Born in Pervomaisk Raion, Popov is a product of the RVUFK Kyiv and Dynamo Kyiv youth sportive schools. He played for FC Dynamo in the Ukrainian Premier League Reserves and in July 2017 he was promoted to the senior squad team. Popov made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League for Dynamo Kyiv only on 13 April 2019, playing in a winning match against FC Mariupol. International career In 2019, Popov played a key role in Ukraine U20's first ever FIFA U-20 World Cup title. He appeared in six of his team's seven matches at the tournament, scoring three goals. He missed the final against South Korea after being sent off in the semifinal match against Italy. He made his debut for Ukraine national team on 23 May 2021 in a friendly against Bahrain. Ukrainian Premier League Reserves
The Ukrainian Premier League youth competitions is a complex of youth competitions within the Ukrainian Premier League and is part of youth competitions in Ukraine. The events include championship among two age categories under 19 and under 21 years old. History First steps Soon after establishing the Professional Football League of Ukraine (PFL) in 1996, a discussion arose about developing younger generation of football players. In 1998 in Ukraine started competition of academies of football clubs which participate in competitions of PFL (Higher, First and Second leagues). In 2001 there was established a separate organization, Ukrainian Youth Football League ( uk, Дитячо-юнацька футбольна ліга України), that took over administration of youth competitions. Originally, competitions were conducted in four age groups between 14 and 17. In 2002 in coordination with the PFL there was introduced competition among youth under 19 years of age.

2019–20 Ukrainian Cup
The 2019–20 Ukrainian Cup was the 29th annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The competition started on 20 August 2019 and concluded on 8 July 2020 with the final at the OSC Metalist in Kharkiv. All competition rounds consisted of a single game with a home field advantage granted to a team from lower league. Qualification for the competition is granted to all professional clubs and finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup as long as those clubs are able to pass the season's attestation (licensing). Shakhtar Donetsk was the defending winner for the last two seasons, but was eliminated by Dynamo Kyiv in the round of 16. The Donetsk club has reached the competition finals in the last nine years winning seven of them.

The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format. 2020–21 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2020–21 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 30th top-level football club competition since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the 13th since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. The defending champion was the 13-times winner Shakhtar Donetsk. On 25 April 2021, Dynamo Kyiv won the record 16th title with three matches remaining, after the victory over Inhulets Petrove in the Round 23 home game. The season started on 21 August 2020 and was initially set to end on 15 May 2021. On 7 April 2021 it was announced that most of clubs voted to end competitions a week early on 9 May 2021.
