Den Store Barnedåpen
''Den store barnedåpen'' (The Great Christening) is a 1931 Norway, Norwegian comedy film. It was directed by Tancred Ibsen and featured Einar Sissener, Aase Bye and Unni Torkildsen. It was the first feature-length Norwegian sound film. It was based on the 1925 play of the same name written by Oskar Braaten (1881–1939). The lacklustre Harald (Sissener) is taken in by Alvilde (Bye), and charged with looking after her bastard child. It soon dawns on both of them that Harald has more potential than previously assumed. Tancred Ibsen
Tancred Ibsen (11 July 1893 – 4 December 1978) was a Norwegian military officer, aviator, film director and screenwriter. Background Ibsen was the son of Sigurd Ibsen and Bergljot Bjørnson. He was the grandson of both Henrik Ibsen and Nobel laureate Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He married dancer and actress Lillebil Ibsen in 1919, and remained married to her until his death in 1978. His son Tancred Ibsen, Jr. (1921–2015) was a Norwegian diplomat. Aviation career In 1917, Tancred Ibsen started pilot training at Kjeller Airport and began his career in the Norwegian Army Air Service. He started the first civilian active airplane company, ''A/S Aero'' in 1920, financed by his uncle, businessman Einar Bjørnson, and two shipowners. The company successfully operated demonstration, advertising, and limited mail flights with Ibsen as the head pilot. Signe Ramberg
Signe Ramberg (November 4, 1900 – January 15, 1987) was a Norwegian actress. Life Signe Ramberg was born in Eidanger, Norway. She performed as a stage actress at the New Theater from 1929 to 1944, and she also appeared in five film roles between 1930 and 1944. Ramberg died in 1987 and is buried in the Old Eidanger Cemetery in Eidanger. Grace Grung
Hjørdis Grace Grung (née Lehmann, December 2, 1895 – November 14, 1988) was a Norwegian actress. Career Grace Grung performed in two one-act plays for the Norwegian Broadcasting Company in 1925. Grung appeared in four film roles between 1931 and 1957. She made her film debut in Tancred Ibsen's ''Den store barnedåpen''. Family Grung was the daughter of the shopkeeper Harald Martin Lehmann (1863–1947) and his wife Inger (1871–?). In 1920 she married the architect Leif Grung (1894–1945), with whom she had a son, Geir Grung (1926–1989). She is not to be confused with Leif Grung's cousin, the actress Grace Elisabeth Grung (1889–1974). Sophus Dahl
Oliver Sofus Pettersen Dahl (December 20, 1877 – November 30, 1952) was a Norwegian theater and film actor. Dahl was born in Horg, Norway, the son of Peder Dahl and Johanna Iversdatter Elgaaen. He was the half-brother of the novelist and playwright Johan Bojer. Dahl married the actress Inga Sparre Dahl, with whom he established a touring ensemble after Ludovica Levy's National Tour (''Nationalturneen'') closed in 1912. In 1918 they started performing at the new theater in Stavanger, and Dahl was also involved in the start-up of the Trondheim Theater in 1911. Dahl led the new Søilen Theater from 1930 to 1932. Finn Hugo Bernhoft (February 6, 1898 – April 27, 1981) was a Norwegian theater and film actor. Bernhoft was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He debuted in 1917 in Edvard Drabløs's touring theater, and he started working with the Trondheim National Theater that same year. He later played at Chat Noir, the Carl Johan Theater, and the Central Theater, and from 1948 to 1958 he was engaged with the Trøndelag Theater. In addition to many roles in comedies, operettas, and musicals, he won acclaim as Morten Kiil in Henrik Ibsen's '' An Enemy of the People'' and as the riding master in August Strindberg's '' The Father''. Aagot Didriksen (3 July 1874 – 19 March 1968) was a Norwegian theatre and film actress of the 1930s. She was born in Kristiansand, Norway. Snefrid Erika Aukland (née Kjølstad, October 5, 1884 – January 14, 1977) was a Norwegian actress. Family Snefrid Aukland was the daughter of the orthopedist and lawyer Thorvald Nils Gotfrid Essendrop Kjølstad (1832–1910) and the actress Elly Kjølstad (1850–1930).
