Deep Creek, Washington
Deep Creek is an unincorporated community in Spokane County, Washington. A creek of the same name flows through the community. Deep Creek is located along U.S. Route 2 in a rural area near the Lincoln County line. Geography Deep Creek is located 14 miles west of Downtown Spokane along U.S. Route 2 and two miles northwest of Fairchild Air Force Base. The city of Airway Heights, which forms the westernmost suburb of the Spokane urban area, is located five miles to the east along U.S. 2. The rural community of Espanola is located four miles to the south. Immediately to the east of the community is a hill that rises 180 feet above Deep Creek. The creek of the same name follows the hillside through the community in a northeasterly direction towards Riverside State Park where it empties into the Spokane River near the community of Nine Mile Falls. As of 2021 the community of Espanola is little more than a handful of buildings and a grain elevator surrounded by farms. Reardan is a town in Lincoln County, Washington, United States. The population was 637 at the 2020 census. History Founded in 1882 and platted in 1889, Reardan was named for Central Washington Railroad engineer C.F. Reardan. Reardan was incorporated on April 14, 1903. The town is home to the elementary/middle/high school serving the Reardan-Edwall School District, covering over in Lincoln and Spokane counties. Medical Lake, Washington
Medical Lake is a small city in Spokane County, eastern Washington, United States. At the 2010 census, the population was 5,060. The city is the site of a psychiatric hospital, Eastern State Hospital, and of Fairchild Air Force Base, two major employers. History The city of Medical Lake was incorporated in 1890. The city took its name from the nearby eponymous lake.
