De Graafschap
VBV De Graafschap () is a professional football club from Doetinchem, Netherlands, playing in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. It was formed on 1 February 1954 and they play their home games at the De Vijverberg stadium. The stadium was opened on 12 August 2000 and stands on the site of the club's old pitch. The club name is Dutch for "The County". They are nicknamed ''Superboeren'' ("Super Farmers"). While not a large club by European club football standards, the club has remained a semi-permanent fixture in the Eredivisie (top league); although to date it has never won any silverware of importance. It also has a large stadium and a large fan base when compared to many other Dutch teams, particularly those in the Eerste Divisie. De Vijverberg
Stadion De Vijverberg (; en, The Pond Hill) is the football stadium in Doetinchem, Netherlands. It has a capacity of 12,600 seats. The name is derived from a hotel with the same name, which stood on the present location of the stadium. Because of all the ponds that had to be filled up, the name Vijverberg arose. The stadium, which was built in 1954, was renovated in 1970, with the construction of the Vijverberg-, Groenendaal- and Spinnenkop stands and the light installation. After the construction of the roofs above the stands in the late eighties, the radical renovation of the Vijverberg began in the summer of 1998. However, with the positioning of seats on the Spinnekop stand, one of the characteristic parts went lost, so in 2008 De Graafschap decided to remove the seats again. Helmond Sport
Helmond Sport is a professional association football club based in the city of Helmond, North Brabant, Netherlands, that competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of the Dutch football league system. The club was founded on 27 June 1967, as a breakaway from the local professional club Helmondia '55, which had gone bankrupt. History The club was founded in 1967, after the professional license was taken over from RKSV Helmondia '55 in order to keep professional football in Helmond. Helmond Sport started in the Tweede Divisie. After only a year, the club was promoted to the First Division after winning the promotion matches against Fortuna Vlaardingen and SC Veendam. The 2016–17 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the sixty-first season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2016 with the first matches of the season and ended in May 2017 with the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2016–17 Eredivisie. 2017–18 KNVB Cup
The 2017–18 KNVB Cup was the 100th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It commenced on 19 September 2017 with the first of six rounds and concluded on 22 April 2018 with the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam. The defending champions were Vitesse from the Eredivisie, who beat AZ 2–0 in the final in the previous season on 30 April 2017. The winner will automatically qualify for the third preliminary round of the 2018–19 edition of the UEFA Europa League. The winner will also participate in the 2018 edition of the Johan Cruyff Shield, the Dutch Supercup match at the start of the following season between the Cup winner and the champions of the 2017–18 Eredivisie. 2018–19 Eredivisie
The 2018–19 Eredivisie was the 63rd season of the Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 10 August 2018 and concluded on 15 May 2019; the Europa League and relegation play-offs will take place later that month. PSV were the defending champions. Emmen, De Graafschap and Fortuna Sittard joined as the promoted clubs from the 2017–18 Eerste Divisie. The 2019–20 KNVB Cup, for sponsoring reasons officially called the TOTO KNVB Beker, was the 102nd season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It commenced on 17 August 2019 with the first of two preliminary rounds and was scheduled to conclude on 19 April 2020, with the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam. Ajax were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the semi-finals by FC Utrecht. The finalists were set to be Feyenoord and Utrecht but on 24 April 2020, the KNVB Cup was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands. The winners were planned to participate in the 2020 Johan Cruyff Shield against the 2019–20 Eredivisie champions, but due to both the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup being abandoned, the Johan Cruyff Shield was cancelled as well. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898.
