Dazhuangke
Dazhuangke Township () is a township located inside of Yanqing District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Yongning Town in its north, Jiuduhe and Yanshou Towns in its east, Shisanling Town in its south, and Jingzhuang Town in its west. In the 2020, the township was home to 4,202 inhabitants. Originally this region was known as Dazhuangke (). But due to the rarity and writing difficulty of the last character 窠, it was later swapped for 科. Geography Dazhuangke Township is located entirely within a mountainous area, with parts of the Yan Mountain Range dominating its northern portion. Changchi Road and Datong–Qinhuangdao railway pass through this region. Yanqing District
Yanqing District (), formerly known as Yanqing County before 2015, is a district of the municipality of Beijing located northwest of the city proper of Beijing. The district consists of 3 subdistricts, 11 towns and 4 townships, and borders the Beijing districts of Huairou to the east and Changping to the south as well as the Hebei counties of Huailai to the west and Chicheng to the north. The district hosted the Expo 2019, and hosted alpine skiing, bobsled, luge and skeleton during the 2022 Winter Olympics. History In the Tang dynasty, Guichuan County, named after the Gui River, was established and belonged to the Gui Prefecture in Hebei, with a defensive military city. This is a list of township-level divisions of the municipality of Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC). After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. However, as Beijing is a province-level municipality, the prefecture-level divisions are absent and so county-level divisions are at the second level, and township-level divisions are at the third level of administration. Jingzhuang
Jingzhuang Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It borders Shenjiaying Town in the north, Yongning Town and Dazhuangke Township in the east, Shisanling and Nankou Towns in the south, as well as Badaling and Dayushu Towns in the west. According to the 2020 census, population for this town was 9,500. The town is named after Jingjiazhuang Village, the seat of the town's government. Shisanling (town)
Shisanling Town () is a town located in the norther part of Changping District, Beijing, China. Situated at the immediate south of Taihang Mountain Range, Shisanling shares border with Jingzhuang Town and Dazhuangke Township in the north, Yanshou Town in the east, Cuicun and Nanshao Towns in the southeast, Chengbei and Chengnan Subdistricts in the south, and Nankou Town in the west. In 2020, census counted 34,085 residents living within the town. The name of the town refers to the 13 Ming tombs within the administrative boundary of the town. Yanshou Town () is a town situated in the northeast of Changping District, Beijing, China. Surrounded by parts of Taihang Mountain Range on three sides, Yanshou Town borders Dazhuangke Township and Jiuduhe Town in its north, Qiaozi Town in its east, Xingshou and Cuicun Towns in its south, and Shisanling Town in its west. Yongning, Beijing
Yongning Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It is a small town in rural Beijing but has a long history as an economic and military center. A government initiative in the 2000s to rehabilitate the town has restored its architectural landmarks. It is located to the south of Xiangying and Liubinbao Townships, west of Sihai and Jiuduhe Towns, north of Dazhuangke Township and Jingzhuang Town, and east of Shenjiaying and Jiuxian Towns. As of 2020, it had 23,483 residents under its administration. The region was named Yongning in 1414 with the meaning of "Eternal Peace". Yan Mountains
The Yan Mountains, also known by their Chinese name Yanshan, are a major mountain range to the north of the North China Plain, principally in the province of Hebei. Townships Of China
Townships (), formally township-level divisions (), are the basic level (fourth-level administrative units) of political divisions in China. They are similar to municipalities and communes in other countries and in turn may contain village committees and villages. In 1995 there were 29,502 townships and 17,532 towns (a total of 47,034 township-level divisions) in China.
