"Day of Disaster" is an episode of '' Thunderbirds'', a British Supermarionation television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and filmed by their production company AP Films (later Century 21 Productions) for ITC Entertainment. Written by Dennis Spooner and directed by David Elliott, it was first broadcast on 4 November 1965 on ATV Midlands as the sixth episode of Series One. In the official running order, it is the 15th episode. Set in the 2060s, ''Thunderbirds'' follows the missions of International Rescue, a secret organisation which uses technologically-advanced rescue vehicles to save human life. Thunderbirds (TV Series)

Riverbed
A stream bed or streambed is the bottom of a stream or river (bathymetry) or the physical confine of the normal water flow (channel). The lateral confines or channel margins are known as the stream banks or river banks, during all but flood stage. Under certain conditions a river can branch from one stream bed to multiple stream beds. A flood occurs when a stream overflows its banks and flows onto its flood plain. Brains is a fictional character introduced in the British mid-1960s Supermarionation television series '' Thunderbirds'', who also appears in the sequel films '' Thunderbirds Are Go'' (1966) and ''Thunderbird 6'' (1968) and the 2004 live-action adaptation '' Thunderbirds''.
