David Tubridy
David Tubridy (born 1987) is a Gaelic footballer. He plays senior football for Doonbeg and the Clare county team. Tubridy plays as a forward. The '' Irish Independent'' has described him as "the floating butterfly lurking on the Clare '45". Early life Tubridy grew up in Doonbeg, County Clare. He attended Clare inter-county training alongside his father Tommy (who remained involved with the team following his retirement from playing). Tommy Tubridy played for Clare, until 1990. The 1992 Munster SFC win came when David Tubridy was four years of age. The jersey he wore while attending the Munster SFC final was passed around the plane the team used to fly from Shannon Airport to Dublin for the 1992 All-Ireland SFC semi-final. Doonbeg GAA
Doonbeg GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from the village of Doonbeg in County Clare, Ireland. The club only plays gaelic football, and have won the Clare Senior Football Championship on eighteen occasions. They are the 2010 champions, having defeated Liscannor in the final by 0-11 to 0-7. History The club was founded in 1954 and won its first senior championship in 1955. On two occasions Doonbeg succeeded in recording a 3 in a row double (championship and league) 1967-68-69, and 1972-73-74. The club's greatest achievement was the winning of the 1998 Munster Club Championship, the first Clare club to capture this title. The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC) ( ga, Craobh Shinsir Peile na hÉireann) is the premier competition in Gaelic football. An annual tournament organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), it is contested by the county teams in All-Ireland. Jim Gavin (born 1 July 1971) is an Irish List of Gaelic football managers, Gaelic football manager and former Gaelic football, player. He was the manager of the senior Dublin county football team, Dublin county team from 2012 to 2019, becoming the county's most successful manager in terms of major titles won. Gavin is regarded as one of the best Manager (Gaelic games), managers in the modern game. Ger Loughnane
Gerard "Ger" Loughnane (born 27 January 1953) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a right wing-back for the Clare senior team. Born in Feakle, County Clare, Loughnane first played competitive hurling whilst at school in St. Flannan's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Clare minor team, before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1972-73 National Hurling League. Loughnane immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen, and won two National Hurling League medals. He was a Munster runner-up on five occasions. As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team at various times throughout his career, Loughnane won three Railway Cup medals. 2022 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 2022 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 135th edition of the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament since its establishment in 1887. Tyrone entered the championship as the defending champions, but were defeated by Derry in the Ulster Championship and eliminated by Armagh in the All-Ireland Qualifiers.
