David Meidan
David Meidan (born 1955) is a former Mossad official, serving as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coordinator on the issue of POWs and MIAs. Served as personal representative of Prime Minister Netanyahu in the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange - negotiations for the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, and was perceived as bringing closure to the deal. Recently, Meidan was also appointed as special envoy to Turkey in an effort to bring back warm relations between Jerusalem and Ankara. Biography Born in Egypt to Nathan and Rose Mosseri. Ron Ben-Yishai ( he, רון בן-ישי; born October 26, 1943) is an Israeli journalist. A veteran war correspondent, Ben-Yishai has covered many military conflicts in several different regions. In 2018, he won the Israel Prize, Israel's most prestigious civic honor. Biography Ben-Yishai was born in Jerusalem in 1943. Kerem Shalom Border Crossing
Kerem Shalom border crossing ( he, מעבר כרם שלום, ar, معبر كرم أبو سالم) is a border crossing at the junction of the Gaza Strip–Israel border and the Gaza–Egypt border. It is managed by the Israel Airports Authority, and is used by trucks carrying goods from Israel or Egypt to the Gaza Strip.
