Daryl Smylie
Daryl Smylie (born 10 September 1985) is a former Northern Irish footballer and current assistant manager of Mariebo IK. Playing career Smylie started out playing football for his local Boys Brigade team in Richhill County Armagh. He then started playing for Lurgan Town Boys in the Lisburn league. When he turned 16 he joined the Newcastle United youth academy. During the last two years there he trained with the first team, but failed to make any first team appearances. In the 2005/06 season Smylie spent time on loan at Stockport County where he made his league debut. He joined Scottish First Division club Livingston on a free transfer in the summer of 2006, but was released at the end of the 2006/07 season. That summer after being released Smylie joined Swedish third-tier club Östersunds FK and played the second half of the 2007 Swedish football Division 1 season. Richhill, County Armagh
Richhill is a large village and townland in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. It lies between Armagh and Portadown. It had a population of 2,821 people in the 2011 Census. Originally named Legacorry, it takes its name from Edward Richardson, who built Richhill Castle, the manor house around which the village grew. Origins At the beginning of the 1600s, the area of Richhill had long been part of the Gaelic Ireland, Irish Gaelic territory of Oneilland. In 1610, as part of the Plantation of Ulster, the land was granted to Englishman Francis Sacherevall. His granddaughter Ann married Edward Richardson, who was an English officer, Member of Parliament for County Armagh from 1655 to 1696, and High Sheriff of Armagh in 1665. Around 1660, Richardson built Richhill Castle, a manor house on the site that would become Richhill, and in 1664 it was reported that there were twenty houses there.T.G.F. The 2007 Division 1 was contested by 28 teams divided into two groups geographically. Assyriska FF and Qviding FIF won their respective groups, and were thereby promoted to Superettan for the 2008 season. Second place teams FC Väsby United and Ängelholms FF were also promoted after having each won their playoffs against teams from Superettan. Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan ( en, the one), which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. It was formerly simply known as ''Division 1''. Division 1 was the second tier from 1987 to 1999, but was replaced by Superettan in 2000. It was reestablished for the 2006 season as the third tier below Superettan.
