''Dalíland'' is a 2022 American film directed by Mary Harron, from a screenplay by John C. Walsh. It is based on the true of the tempestuous marriage between surrealist painter Salvador Dalí and his wife and muse Gala in their later years during the 1970s. The film stars Ben Kingsley, Barbara Sukowa, Ezra Miller, Christopher Briney, Alexander Beyer, Avital Lvova, Rupert Graves, Andreja Pejić, Suki Waterhouse, and Mark McKenna. Barbara Sukowa
Barbara Sukowa (; born 2 February 1950) is a German actress of screen and stage and singer. She has received three German Film Awards for Best Actress, three Bavarian Film Awards, Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress, Venice Film Festival Award, and well as nomination for European Film Awards, César Awards and Grammy Awards. Sukowa is best known for her work with directors Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Margarethe von Trotta.
