Dallas Toler-Wade
Dallas Toler-Wade (born June 6, 1974) is an American musician, best known for his work in the ancient Egyptian-themed technical death metal band Nile. He is currently the guitarist, lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the metal band Narcotic Wasteland. Biography Toler-Wade started playing the drums at seven-years old. At the age of fourteen, he started learning to play the guitar. His career started as a drummer for the Greenville, South Carolina-based technical death metal band Lecherous Nocturne. During his tenure there, he was recommended to Karl Sanders of Nile and subsequently joined the band in September 1997 as a guitarist and vocalist. He left the band in October 2016. Nile announced the departure in February 2017. Toler-Wade started Narcotic Wasteland as a side project in 2014, but it became his full-time project once he left Nile in 2016. ''Black Seeds of Vengeance'' is the second album by American technical death metal band Nile, released on September 5, 2000, through Relapse Records. It was the first album in Nile's discography to mark a more complex musical direction, as well as feature extensive liner notes in the booklet, written by Karl Sanders to explain the concept and themes behind each song. It also was the band's first album recorded with vocalist/guitarist Dallas Toler-Wade (who performed with the band until 2017), and features Derek Roddy as a session drummer, temporarily replacing previous drummer Pete Hammoura who left the band due to injuries sustained while touring. Season of Mist is an independent record label and record distributor with subsidiaries in France and the United States. The record label was founded in 1996 by Michael S. Berberian in Marseille, France. From the start releasing black metal, pagan metal, and death metal records, the label moved on to releasing albums of avant-garde metal, gothic metal and punk bands as well. George Kollias (drummer)
Giorgos "George" Kollias ( el, Γεώργιος "Γεωργι" Κόλλιας; born August 30, 1977) is a Greek heavy metal drummer and music teacher best known for his work with American technical death metal band Nile. He is the first Nile drummer to perform every song on more than one full-length album (handling drum duties so far on all albums from '' Annihilation of the Wicked'' through ''Vile Nilotic Rites''). His sponsors include Sabian, Evans, Vic Firth, and Axis Pedals; the last with whom he released his signature bass drum pedals. In addition to being the drummer of Nile, he also teaches drums at the Modern Music School in Athens. Biography Kollias was born in Corinth. ''Ithyphallic'' is the fifth studio album by American technical death metal band Nile. It was released on July 17, 2007 through Nuclear Blast, in both standard and digipak formats. It is the band's first album released on Nuclear Blast, since signing with them in May 2006. It is also the band's only album since '' Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka'' not to feature notes explaining the context of the lyrics. 1,000 limited edition copies of the album were released in a pyramid-shaped box containing the disc, several images, a certificate of ownership and a scroll containing the lyrics and liner notes from the album.
