Kang Dae-sung (Hangul: 강대성; born April 26, 1989), better known mononymously as Daesung and his Japanese stage name D-Lite, is a South Korean singer, actor and television personality who made his musical debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang under the record label YG Entertainment. He debuted as a solo artist in South Korea with the number one trot song "Look at Me, Gwisoon" in 2008. Since the inception of the Gaon Digital Chart in 2010, Daesung achieved two Top 10 songs, the digital single "Cotton Candy" and "Wings" from the Big Bang album ''Alive'' (2012). Big Bang Made
''Big Bang Made'' is a 2016 South Korean documentary film featuring popular boy band Big Bang (South Korean band), Big Bang on their tour, the Made World Tour in 2015, which became the most attended tour headlined by a Korean act in history. It was released in South Korea and Japan on June 30, 2016. It is the band's first film, released to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut. Synopsis In April 2015, Big Bang made a comeback after a three-year hiatus as a group, and their Made World Tour ended with a great success drawing 1.5 million people worldwide. YGEX
YGEX is a Japanese record label. A subsidiary of the Avex Group, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded on April 12, 2011 by Japanese record company Avex Group and South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment, and this is the first time that Korean entertainment company has established a record label in Japan. The label's name YGEX is a portmanteau of the companies involved, YG Entertainment and AVEX, and has two meanings: "EXPERIENCE" and "EXCLUSIVE". Itaewon
Itaewon (; IPA ) is multi-cultural commercial area located in Seoul, South Korea. it is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Seoul, known for its nightlife and trendy restaurants. Etymology The name Itaewon was originally derived from the name of an inn located there during the Joseon Dynasty. Today it's called Itaewon alluding to its abundance of pear trees (梨泰院). According to a folktale, the name was also written using different Hanja characters that alluded to foreign babies (異胎院). When the Japanese invaded Seoul (1592–1593) during the Imjin War a group of Japanese soldiers seized a Buddhist temple in what is now Itaewon where Buddhist nuns lived. The soldiers stayed at the temple for a while and raped the Buddhist nuns. When the soldiers left they burned down the Buddhist temple. Family Outing
''Family Outing'' (; also known as ''Family Outing Season 1'') was a South Korean comedy-variety show; part of SBS's ''Good Sunday'' lineup, along with ''Gold Miss is Coming'' (골드미스가 간다). It first aired on June 15, 2008, and was one of the top rated programs on Sunday Korean television. Each week, the cast members referred to as "Family" travelled to different locations in South Korea to stay for a single night. During their stay the Family would play games and complete tasks set by the owners of the home, while the owners are out on vacation. ''D-Day'' is the second Japanese extended play of South Korean artist, Daesung, also known by his Japanese stage name, D-Lite, member of boy band Big Bang. The album was released digitally on March 28 and physically on April 12, 2017. Background and composition In December 2016, Daesung's first Dome Tour was announced, with shows in the Japanese cities of Saitama and Osaka. In support of this tour, a new album's name and release date was announced in February of the following year. D'slove Tour is the second Japanese tour by South Korean singer Daesung, member of Big Bang. It was attended by over 170,000 people, making it the highest attendance in a Japanese national tour held by a Korean soloist at the time. This tour also made Daesung the first Korean soloist to gather over 100,000 fans in Japan for two consecutive years.
