Dzhairkhoy
Dzheyrakhsky shahar ( inh, Джlайрхой) is an Ingush shahar, historically formed in mountainous Ingushetia in the area of the lower reaches and the mouth of the Armkha and the upper reaches of the Terek. The territory where the taipas of the Dzheirakh Shahar lived bordered on the west with the Tagauri society of Ossetians, in the east - with the Metskhal ( Fiappa Shahar), in the south with the Ingush society of Giltkha, which is today in Georgia, in the north, the borders of the Dzheirakh Shahar went to the Tara Valley and to Vladikavkaz. Starting from the 19th century, as the Ingush societies consolidated, the Dzheyrakh Shakhar played a big role in the formation of a single Ingush ethnic group. Ingush People
The Ingush (, inh, ГIалгIай, translit=Ghalghaj, pronounced ) per Oxford dictionary "a member of a people living mainly in Ingushetia in the central Caucasus." Ingushetia is a federal republic of Russian Federation. The Ingush are predominantly Sunni Muslims and speak the Ingush language. According to 19th-century scientist Semen Bronevski the Ingush are known as Kisti, Ghalgha, Ingushi and they use the names interchangeably. According to the German scientist Peter Pallas who visited the Caucasus the Ingush are known as Loamaro, Kisti, Ghalghai, Ingush. Ingush (; , , pronounced ) is a Northeast Caucasian language spoken by about 500,000 people, known as the Ingush, across a region covering the Russian republics of Ingushetia and Chechnya.
