Dynasty (Australian TV Series)
''Dynasty'' is an Australian TV series that aired from 7 October 1970 to 6 October 1971, based on the 1967 Tony Morphett novel of the same name which had been previously adapted as a television play. 1969 TV play The novel was first adapted as a television play produced by the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC), and broadcast in October 1969 as one installment of an anthology series of unrelated plays under the title ''Australian Plays''. The project was written by Morphett based on his novel, and directed in Melbourne by Oscar Whitbread. Plot Inventor Jim Richards (Terry Norris) seeks financial backing from the Mason Corporation for his new machine. He finds himself in the middle of a power struggle for control of the corporation, including a family dispute. David Mason uses his affair with his sister-in-law Kathy to his advantage. Ron Graham (actor)
Ronald Graham (17 December 1926 – 2 April 2020) was a British-Australian character actor who appeared in many theatre and television roles from 1956 until retiring in 2003. He is best known for his roles in telemovies and guest roles in serials including those of ''Crawford Productions'' and roles in popular serials '' Certain Women'', ''A Country Practice'' and ''Home and Away''. He was a regular in the short lived police-oriented soap opera ''Waterloo Station'' (1983) and featured in the film ''Gallipoli''. Bob Ellis
Robert James Ellis (10 May 1942 – 3 April 2016) was an Australian writer, journalist, filmmaker, and political commentator. Patricia Mary Byson Flower (23 February 1914 – 2 September 1977) was an English Australian writer of plays, television plays and novels. Biography She was born in Ramsgate, Kent, England and moved to Australia with her family in 1928. She originally worked as a secretary, writing radio plays and sketches in her spare time. Alan Burke (director)
Alan Burke (18 November 1923 – 28 August 2007) was an Australian writer and film director and producer. His credits include the musical ''Lola Montez''. Biography Burke was born in the Hawthorn suburb of Melbourne, Victoria in 1923. Burke was interested in theatre from a young age and began writing plays. One of them ''Follow Suit'' debuted in 1941. Owen Ash Weingott (21 June 1921 – 12 October 2002) was an Australian actor, director and drama teacher. Serge Constantine Lazareff (7 August 1944 - 20 August 2021) was an Australian actor and screenwriter/editor, who was born in Shanghai, China.
